The lighting on the back cover makes it hard to tell. Also, you didn't mention any back cover concerns, so I'm guessing that it looks much better than the pics. Beautiful book, 7.0 + ?

It's not that nice, probably a 1.8 or so. I'm trying to collect a run of ASM 1-10 coverless. I found this issue at my local comic shop. I might just swap it for a coverless issue, it really doesn't belong with the others I've collected.

You could buy it, find Wayne, and sell the book back to him at a premium. He's probably kicking himself for letting it go.

But can you rock, kick and punch these things if the comic jams? Would I have to buy the book behind it to push it out? All of these machines should have a light curtain to detect when the item falls into the chute.

I started using GPAnalysis a few days ago, it costs $11 each month, or $119 yearly. It tracks the sale price of each CGC issue over time, and shows current auctions too. I think it would be very useful in determining how much to budget for each book, at the highest affordable grade. I'm really intrigued by this task you've undertaken, and wish you the best of luck. Don't forget to post in the Want To Buy thread (maybe you already have), it is a great resource.

My bad. You might have gotten a VG for $800 in 2017, but not now. I think I paid about $850 for a 3.5 last year.
