Finally got to see Killers of the Flower Moon.
It is incredible the level of cruelty people will dish out to others all for the sake of self-serving goals (in this case it is greed). And to do this to unsuspecting 'loved ones' including children to achieve oil money inheritance, it turns your stomach.
The actors performing these roles must have been so uncomfortable, yet they delivered with clear commitment to tell the whole story with all the emotion it required.
Well worth watching at least one time.
I agree with this.
finally saw Killers of the Flower Moon as well. Very noticeably long in my opinion but I did enjoy the story. I just think they could have edited it to be 2-2.25 hrs long instead of 3.5 hours long.
Saw it with some friends who invited me over for dinner and a movie. We paused it for dinner and I noted 1.25 hours had passed, and saw the time remaining
6/10 mostly due to the length

I'm hoping George Miller (director of Mad Max, The Road Warrior, Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome and Mad Max Fury Road) and his minor awareness of a post-apocalyptic cinematic world leads to a solid explanation for this bike design. Like with that small a gas tank is there some alternative fuel source at play here.
Time will tell.
Must sell toys

something that I really wish this franchise would consider in the details is that gasoline/fuel is a very precious resource (established in earlier films) and because of this they should limit the number of vehicles as well as how garish the vehicles appear. While this bike visually looks good, to me it does not belong in the Mad Max universe as it looks like a custom fabricated machine built by some well known current fabricator rather than an existing bike with add-ons like the vehicles of the 1981 Road Warrior film.

It seems this is happening all over the country where the drivers are forging the recipients signature for delivery acceptance. So, FedEx is collecting money (around $6 per package) for a service they have no intention of performing. Imagine how many millions of dollars FedEx is receiving per day for Direct, Indirect, or Adult Signature required service and then not performed their contracted obligation. it's amazing that there hasn't been a class action lawsuit on this yet. They finally got caught out on rolling back their odometers before selling their used vehicles, so maybe it's just a matter of time before the forgery fraud comes to light.
This isnt new.

Yes I have had this happen to me, both as receiving the package and as the sender of the package.

I enjoyed it too. Definitely a movie where you don't spend too much time overthinking the plot holes. A friend suggested a movie where the Beekeeper, Equalizer and Wick have a mash-up.
Enjoyed The Beekeeper for what it was and went into it with expectations that it met.
6/10
As to my suggested mash-up; The Beekeeper vs The Equalizer vs. John Wick it would be an interesting fight!

I could see if it was a sticker. Then yes, a green label would be warranted. This, as many have already pointed out, is a date stamp and IMO should garner a blue label.
agreed.
If this is the stance, then all the Bethlehem pedigree books need to be qualified as an example.

everything always works out positively regarding my vehicle.
Some examples:
-No one in front of me when driving
-always make the light
-is always a convenient parking space
-fuel price drops when I need to fuel up
-sale on parts I need
-mechanic fixes it in most economical manner
-absolutely everyone I encounter is obeying traffic laws and is courteous.
-never any construction on the route I drive
Etc

I'm sure everyone has eagerly been waiting for my reaction to this movie. Here it is:
I fell asleep during the final climactic fight sequence.
Same. I also fell asleep when Madam Web left the 3 girls in the forest. Boring movie

This is too strong a claim. I wanted to focus on the aging fanboy bit & made it sound like the She-Hulk message was the single, direct cause of the MCU collapse. That message was part of the collapse to be sure but good old fashioned poor storytelling has been the much greater part, I reckon.
I agree.
Then you have Bob Iger saying that they are going to change things from what was in the comics to bring a fresh perspective to the Fantastic Four that hasn't been seen before.
I ask why?
I really would like to see the greatest stories told in the comics on the big screen, that is after all why the infinity saga was so great.

I saw every superhero movie from Blade through The Batman including paying for such gems as Elektra and Green Lantern. As a kid of the 70s/80s, I felt like just the fact my comics I grew up with made it to the big screen was enough to earn my support. Then 2021 broke me. I finally buckled and skipped Mobius then Quantumania then Shazam.
Brand loyalty doesn’t last forever
I also happily paid to see almost all superhero films on the big screen. Thor: Love and Thunder changed that for me though and since then have not put much money towards superhero movies and TV as I no longer have any trust in them to deliver anything of quality. I have also been correct to not do so!
If friends ask me I would go see Deadpool 3.

Can someone explain to me why a Wolverine Limited #1 1982 back cover black line variant is deemed super rare? I found it a bit odd and curious if this is this something CGC adds to the grader notes. It's an obvious printing issue by the manufacturer from what I see offered on eBay and was a tad surprised(?) as to the asking price for a CGC 7.0 grade book. Am I missing something here?
what you are missing is that anyone can ask a price for what they are selling. Is it worth it? Not in the slightest.
His book isn't rare nor is the manufacturing defect

I never see the sketch version either. Only the regular version

"Power", "powerful", "empowered", "powerful", "empowered". ETC.
All the interviews with the cast they all say the same garbage.
Show me a good movie instead of telling me.

Pass for me. Disney more concerned with DEI than anything else.

Interesting. Thanks for the info. How often can “staining” be improved by a cleaning without it being a restore?
depends on the nature of the staining. If it is something that is surface only that can be removed then it can be improved.

My first comic I ever bought was a Fantastic Four 112 and I still own that original copy which is a miracle.
I lived on a farm back then, and my Father wanted to get some rye bread and lunch meats as he liked to eat that with hot mustard. He would get headcheese ( yuck ) as he knew I didn't like it.
We went into the city, and when we got there he gave me the change in his pocket and told me to "go to the used book store across the street and buy some comics"
Paul's Book store was the place, and he had shelves and shelves of used books for sale at half cover. You could also trade 2 for 1.
Fantastic Four 112 really stood out to me, that black cover and those powerful looking heroes ready to do battle. I really liked what I had read and collected the Hulk until I had them all. Decent feat for a kid age 14 with a paper route.

Or they are doing the same thing they have with the last several inexperienced directors that have never shot action. Let the announced person shoot the quiet scenes, then quietly bring in a second director to shoot the action sequences.
Fair comment, and I can add that I think it is great that they are willing to give new people a chance.
Now my hope is that the movie story/ content is spectacular and captures Star Wars in a way that enthralls fans

Agreed, and the film got more interesting the last 30 minutes.
