  1. This will be my first time doing the comic swap and I couldn't be more delighted. I'm torn between doing more trading, offering for sale, or a combo, but will be excited to bring everything from my personal collection.
  2. Yeah Brad has a great selection but definitely much more concentrated on silver, bronze and copper as I recall. At least on the key side.
  3. Yeah, super trustworthy! I love how they list the restoration in one of the most difficult places to notice. Extremely disingenuous listing practices, and notorious for over grading and leaving out additional resto.
  4. Oh man I 🙏 no one in here bought this. If so, I recommend returning it for a refund!
  5. Your guess is as good as mine. SC4 just means more to me on the scale of mega silver keys.
  6. The only book that surprised me was the SC4. That seemed like an easy 1.5 mil and up book. Just doesn't get the love it deserves, compared to like AF15.
  7. That's what I'm saying! Made no sense to me. Have to imagine Goldin gave the owner like a ridiculous sweetheart deal on the commish to get the book in the auction. Still wouldn't have been worth it though.
  8. Ok yeah that's the one! And that sale was mid 2023 so not long ago. Just feel like Goldin wasn't the best venue for that book. I know people will say buyers will come for a book, no matter where. And it could have been due to something else, maybe economy at the time, but I think Goldin was the wrong place.
  9. Wow, the 1st Tarzan App. pulp hammering at $264K. Seems solid.
  10. Aww ok, I swear I thought I remember a 7.0 selling for like $1.5 mil at some point, maybe after that 2.6 mil but I may be thinking of something else.
  11. Supes 1 finishing at $2.34 mil. Can't remember if it was heritage or somewhere else, but didn't a 7.0 sell in the last couple years for like $1.5 mil?
  12. S stands for hope, as in Batman 1 will never hope to be in the same vicinity as Superman 1. At least in some grades haha.
  13. That’s awesome man! Great pickup for sure.
  14. Damn nice copy! How’d you come across that?
  15. Yeah this is definitely one hell of a silver age auction, with some awesome golden age books peppered in.
  16. House of Secrets in Burbank, CA. They get stuff like this once in a while. Well one time they got a massive collection in.
