  1. For me, CGC is my preferred company even with long current wait times. I look at it as a long run type of situation where CGC will most probably bring a higher price when I pad my retirement income with comic sales. That said, I did sign up to CBCS to send in some already signed books to get there "Verified" signature grading vs. CGC's green "Qualified" label on comics with a front cover signature.
  2. Some silver age love back from CGC today. Box from UPS was a little smashed on the side but well packed and perfect on the inside.
  3. 4/26 is the "received" back from pressing also. Must be at the bottom of the pile.
  4. That means mine are next?!?!?! A guy can hope (2 mags SFG since 4/26)
  5. Had the same thing with my IH 181. Came back a few years ago with initial "slight color touch" and sent it in last year for restoration removal. Came back same grade also. I bought that and GS X-Men 1 raw when I was a kid going to the San Diego Comic Con back in the 80's and had no indication there was any "restoration" on them. Well, well worth the time and investment to get that removed.
  6. Based on how this one shot up in value just in the few months it was in CGC's hands, well worth it on the investment front.
  7. Sent this in for restoration removal, had something added to spine, at a Restored 6.0. Had removed, pressed and came back the same. Love the Blue Universal!
  8. As others have stated - yes. I have done the same by selecting pressing and regrading when submitting slabbed books. Note there's a heck of long turn around time for both right now.
  9. SFG at 4/26 and still holding for mag TMNT 2 & 3 This week?
  10. I've sent a few slabbed books into the in house signings over the past year. They will crack and charge you $5 for opening. I've never sent an additional window bag and the signatures have been in logical places.
  11. My nowhere near 9.8 120 and 121 are in CGC's hands as we speak. Hope this raises all grades.
  12. Been to Florida many times but no desire to live there. Open up an office in the PNW and I may consider
  13. Regarding the Lestat/Interview, tried multiple times to sell in the past and never had a bite. May be time to relist.
  14. Already answered but - no to CGC Yellow label. The stamp is more of a COA than many other "signed copies" out there but the value can only be determined by you.
  15. That is one beautiful copy. Popcorn ready to see how this one ends.
  16. Decisions, decisions on what to send in for Bill S. Of course I sent my Moon Knight 1 into CGC a month ago for grading.
  17. Probably both equally adept at playing the villain.
  18. Well I'm working out of the man cave now. I turn to the right it's movie posters. In front and around my desk is music memorabilia, behind me and to the left is my comic collection that I can stand up, walk around and peruse during meetings (without video on) or when I need a stand up break.
  19. Let's set up the mutual support group SFG for my two back from pressing since 4/26. Had a "standard" get back from restoration removal and pressing "received" on 5/3 that was just delivered to me yesterday.
  20. Good for that seller. If I had that comic, the auction would be beginning right now.
  21. Looks very close to my 9.0 I had slabbed years ago. Good to see another one potentially slabbed. Only 100 in the registry so this can be 101!
