  1. Good for that seller. If I had that comic, the auction would be beginning right now.
  2. Looks very close to my 9.0 I had slabbed years ago. Good to see another one potentially slabbed. Only 100 in the registry so this can be 101!
  3. As you state, if you're selling, press and slab. You will recoup the investment when you sell but there's a bit of a wait right now before you get the book back so depends on your timeframe.
  4. I have seen bits and pieces of the TV show and owe that a good sit down and watch one of these days.
  5. Not in the minority, Highlander (and there was only one........ movie ) is one of my top 5 of all time and #1 guilty pleasure. Don't need this remade.
  6. Ok, saw this yesterday with my 9 year old daughter who wanted to see a "horror" movie. I will admit I liked Snyder's Dawn remake and was looking forward to this. Wanted to like this more than I did but just too much potential not achieved and cliches abundant. Netflix subscriber so the price was right.
  7. Wow and congrats on the 9.9! Separate submission that was "received" from CCS on 5/3 just shipped today but my signed Eastmans are still at SFG since 4/26. Tomorrow is another day!
  8. Thanks - I never considered sending to CBCS as I have pretty much only gone through CGC on grading.
  9. Huge X-Men fan and got one also. A "lowly" 7.5 but still worth something!
  10. I'm eagerly waiting for the result in my FF #4 that just moved to SFG. Don't anticipate more than a 3+ but still that one is rising also.
  11. My pressed "came back" on 4/26 and still holding at SFG. Mine is a #2 and #3 so any day now
  12. I actually have a #3 that I had Larry Welz sign at the 1989 SD Comic Con. Forgot I had that, are these also increasing in value? Can't really check Overstreet on these..... Actually answered my own question by checking Ebay.
  13. I would definately like to see DC catch up to the Marvel explosion but I like many others have been reaping the benefits of the Marvel increases.
  14. Kick myself for missing out on a 9.2 Subby #1 for $500 a few years back and hope some of this will roll down to Iron Man Sub-Mariner #1 one shot that I do have in 9.2.
  15. I got an invite also last week. Didn't pursue it but even though I am a "Power Seller" or whatever they are changing it too now, I don't have a store and only sell a few things a month.
  16. Graded books, straight alphabetical. Raws are a bit jumbled with "Modern - post 1975" in one section and older in another.
  17. Substitute Bourbon with beer and I've had one or two similar experiences
  18. My Wolverine #1 was previously graded 9.6 and kept it after I sent in for the Claremont signings last year. Maybe should have submitted for pressing also but good with that grade and place on my shelf.
  19. I actually have a couple in person received Stan Lee signatures, including comics signed on the old school inside style and way before an Excelsior sticker, that of course can never be CGC signature series but are part of my collection. I can provide my provenance if I ever sell but unless I send off to PSA or something, a buyer could never be 100% sure.
  20. Both mine enjoying another week in SFG. Must be at the bottom of the pile but good to hear things are moving for some.
  21. I could dig a couple up for a Todd M signing. Will also take advantage of the Silvestri for some X-Men.
