  1. Are you sure? That group in WD 78 (below) looks like a completely separate group. Different clothes (jackets vs. cutoffs and tattoos) and different people. I censored the saucy dialogue and bullet hole on the first pic.
  2. Jealous! I was eyeing that one. Great Governor-related dialogue in that last panel too.
  3. Did the storyline for these two guys (well...one) escaping zombies in Walking Dead 75 get resolved? They are wearing clothing similar to what's seen on the Something to Fear covers, and their tattoos are a little bit like the one on the cover of 102:
  4. At least 102, but maybe somewhere between 98 and 102. There's been a lot of discussion about this, but no real consensus.
  5. I would be in for a CGC Boards variant - couldn't be more than 500 copies or so. Another note, got this cover in and scanned. I sure wouldn't mind if it was Merle, but it's pretty kick- in the meantime: http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=878321&GSub=116289
  6. He's in Day Zero too, it shows up on canle every once in a while. A decent future military draft scenario movie with Elijah Wood. Worth the 90 minutes.
  7. As long as it keeps the book on time, I'm fine with a more minimalist style. I like it though - it contributes to the atmosphere of the book.
  8. It is similar, but I think this arc will have a bit more horrific ending. At least we will find out which direction it's going in Wednesday.
  9. Hell yeah! wicked are you contacting Adlard directly or going through SplashPageArt? I assume there is a large waiting list for these. I got it from Mark at SplashPageArt - got the cover to 98 too (the Merle-ish one).
  10. I just got this cover in the mail: http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=875456&GSub=116289
  11. By the way, where are the cellphones in Walking Dead? I'm re-reading the series now - I would think comm towers might run for a little longer than tv stations, etc. Surely someone came across a pre-paid cellphone/burner in the early days. Walkie talkies too. Those would help.
  12. Not so sure the governor is coming back. If alive, he's states away. The novel seemed more tied in to show continuity than the comics.
  13. I agree - perfect example is 48/49. I'd argue the change happens sooner (96?) than later.
  14. I wish Alan Thicke would write a Walking Dead theme, just as a goof. Heck of a DVD extra.
  15. There should be a contest to see who could fill in the panels with the funniest word balloons. So true . I'll make one up later. So many good things could be plopped in.
  16. What do you guys think happens in 97? It sure looks like Merle on the cover of 98.
  17. With the Governor popping up next season, I just put this page from issue 29 with the Governor being creepily nice (and about to spend time with his, ummm, niece) in my CAF: http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=873502&GSub=116281
  18. I agree with you 100% - I don't think we'll see Tyreese in the show. I'd speculate that T-Dog was supposed to be Tyreese, but a lot of Tyreese's character was moved over to Daryl once fans latched on. It will be interesting if Michonne still makes the NFL/Falcons connection with T-Dog.
  19. Merle is definitely in season 3, in some form according to Michael Rooker: http://splashpage.mtv.com/2012/03/19/walking-dead-season-three-merle-dixon/
