  1. Hawkman posted this in another thread: 1,19,27, 33, 48, 53, 61, 63, 92 are the important books/keys right now (61/63 because of chew). also, i would add that #33 (2nd print) might have less interest than 1st print, but it's probably more valuable than the 1st print. imho: #53 relies on abraham staying alive #61/63 will hold value for now, but after chew stops? #92 relies on jesus' character. will he stay around and become a prominent character? Does 61 stay up in lieu of 63 due to the Carl/Ben sequence? It's a turning point for the series.
  2. If you check out the roamers and lurkers WD board, there's about a million theories as to how she is still alive somewhere.
  3. I would love to see a 5-10 year jump in the series. Even if just a short while for a couple of arcs.
  4. I got this spoilerific page in today - do NOT click if you have yet to read issue 61: http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=884257&GSub=129204
  5. One that note, here's some morning laughter poking fun at TV Dale.
  6. So true. TV Dale made me throw things at the screen, especially the second part of season 2 when he was on the way out.
  7. TAINTED MEAT!!!!!!! That was one of the most badspoon moments of the series. And on that note (one of my favorite lines of the comic) - I got this new/old cover to WD 65 in over the weekend: http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=882507&GSub=129204
  8. I agree - and the fact that more are coming out at SDCC might be leading some to wait. Anyone have one in person? What's the binding like?
  9. 91-95 have been pretty good...you get the goodies I sent over?
  10. And the rough release date for 96 is Wednesday, right? That seems early.
  11. Reads way better as a TPB or full arc at a time. As standalone stories there are the occasional "WOW" individual books, but it hasn't been consistently awesome for a few years. The second 48 aren't on the same level as the first 48. I keep buying it every month, hoping for something that I don't always get. As a TPB, however, it still pops. It's the epitome of a "arc at a time" book. I agree - I'm waiting for that issue 48 moment to happen again - maybe it happens soon and puts every thing else in perspective.
  12. I kinda like the Chromium idea - it's funny, tongue in cheek. This worked well for Spawn 100 and brought out some cool covers looking back on the series.
  13. I like! I wonder if it's a variant or the real cover. I think Splash Page sold a #100 cover from the something to fear run - maybe they will move a cover back and run with this one?
