  1. Or sides with the Saviors after being kidnapped? His memory seems so fragile now, they could probably brainwash him easily.
  2. T-Dog shows up as a member of the Survivors, get's popped in the head by Andrea, end of T-Dog. It would be funny to introduce Daryl, Merle, T-Dog, and some more show characters in one scene, only to have them killed off in the course of 3 pages.
  3. Also, if anybody's played the game, here's some neat tie-in info to the comic:
  4. One of the real superheroes of comic art collecting steps in. Best of luck Spencer, do some good! AcA Spencer really, really is - the guy is the definition of above and beyond in the comic art community.
  5. Spencer Beck just posted this on comicart-L, with permission to post on other boards:
  6. Prices still aren't bad, especially compared to the prices that most modern artists demand.
  7. Dude just stop posting please. Stop. Everyone in the know in regards to people bidding on that page knew that Mr. Zero Feedback seller was a somebody in the Comic Book industry. The zero feedback didn't change the final amount it went for at all. Please just stop throwing around your 2 cents when you have no idea what the hell you are talking about. I agree - the zero feedback aspect doesn't play a role here. It's similar to a Heritage consignment thanks to the provenance of the seller (with it being the equivalent of a $9600 sale on ha.com thanks to the buyer's premium).
  8. The 3rd highest bidder bid 1k five days before the auction ended, so it still would have sold for 1025. It looks like the winner sniped the final bid, so I think it's a decent representation price wise. There are a lot of individual owners of WD art on CAF, and it seems to be pulling fans out of the woodwork. I'd argue it's pretty deep.
  9. It was either $900 or $950...just can't remember which. I think it was 900 - still a good return, especially in light of what the cover to 93 sold for and the quick turn around.
  10. The Made To Suffer arc, now that's cool. The red theme really works, and it ends with a half page cover (issue 48), that works as a final conclusion. I think that's why I like them though - they remind me of 48. And let's face it, there's a lot of white space on the past couple years worth of Walking Dead covers.
  11. The cover to 99 did pretty well on eBay - it popped the 1050 mark. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=221013190190&ssPageName=ADME:B:EOIBUAA:US:3160
  12. Finally got a page from 48, no pic in the thread since it's a bit spoilerish for those not to that point (but seriously, catch up on your reading if you are behind): http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=890544&GSub=129204
  13. So 30-45 minutes worth? So true . More like 2 hours or so. So that's gotta be 5-6 tpbs worth.
  14. Here's a review of the Walking Dead game from a comic book POV: http://www.pastemagazine.com/articles/2012/05/the-walking-dead-episode-1---a-new-day-review-mult.html It's essentially got more story in it than 10-15 issues of the comic.
  15. Yes. It's about 1-2 hours long. Each month a new episode will come out. It's well worth the $4.99 per episode. Lots of fun, within comic book continuity (takes place pre-Walking Dead #1), and easy to pick up.
  16. I'm on board with you - to use an old hockey adage, you miss 100% of the shots you don't take.
  17. Traded for a couple of cool WD pages that haven't surfaced in a while, including Rick and Lori discussing the Shane-baby! (I want to make that sound like a monster, but it just doesn't work) http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=887185&GSub=129204 http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=887175&GSub=129204
  18. One of the guys on Roamers and Lurkers brought up an interesting point from the Rise of the Governor novel. If you read the book, it has a lot of allusions to events in the series - is it possible the Saviors were in RotG? Here's a longer chapter section the original poster referred to: It might be a stretch - Druid Hills is just outside of Atlanta, but they could have made the trek north.
  19. Chromium is no joke And, in a doomsday prepper scenario, your chromium covers can be smelted to obtain precious metals.
  20. Anybody know who has the cover to Walkind Dead 69 (The DC cover)? If its a boardie, I'd be interested in buying it/trading for it.
  21. I wonder if the end of season 3.5 will be the Michonne saga, with 3 ending with the governor's raid. I just hope they don't drag this out too long.
