Indeed.  I should probably go way back and look at how much  gas cost to drive to that bus... As I recall, .22 gal.

Be sure to also factor in the cost to wharehouse it (heat, hydro, property tax, mortgage ) etc ?

  2. I believe he words it deceivingly , he said ‘these pages are scan from original art’ which can be interpreted that he scanned the images in order to post pics , and you are bidding on the original art., and I believe he is selling just that , scanned pages printed out , as opposed to the originals. So unless you are in the market for photo copies, beware

Thread died. I've seen a few comments where people were very pleased with the quality of the books once in-hand. Any observations on how they're performing in the market?

    The iron man 55 9.8 http://www.comiclink.com/Auctions/item.asp?back=%2FComicTrack%2FAuctions%2Fbids%2Easp&id=1165442

Did quite well, finished well above gpa. I believe there are more up for bids on the current comiclink auction as well

Near complete interior art (plus cover) are in The Impossible Collection. I imagine the billionaire owner of said collection would pay a pretty penny to complete that issue.

Wow, that is pretty impressive (not that the impossible collection wasn’t impressive as it was) I wasn’t aware he had oa in 5e collection also. Is there any other oa in his collection?

Just so people don't have an aneurysm reading this, it looks like the cover in question is actually Batman: Gotham Adventures #10.

Ughgh that’s what I get for posting while I was supposed to be on a work conference call

anyhow, aside from me not knowing how to read and copy Comic titles, comiclink really brought their a-game with all the stuff they had listed , that Kirby dr doom page is tremendous, and what a collection of mcfarlane pieces! I’m eager to see what else will be included in the auction

  6. Figured I’d start a thread to discuss the November fall feature auction held by comiclink. They re just starting to list items, but so far there are some very attractive pieces here s a select few

theres also frazetta stuff , another Frankenstein Bernie Writson production plate, well pretty much everything they have listed so far is very impressive

  7. Once again Comiclink is doing their fall feature auction the same time as the comicconnect one, and there are some insane pages in the Comic link one also. (Mcfarlane spawn, spiderman, and hulk pages...Kirby ff4 pieces...etc etc...). All I know is that I’ll be lucky to have a roof over my head after all this action in November!

A few Lee UXM/XM pages have been auctioned in recent times:

As for '90s segments which have experienced big price leaps in the last 2 years, Larsen ASM/MCP/SM and Liefeld NM/XF immediately spring to mind. On a smaller scale, Bagley NW/ASM and Lim SS have also jumped.

The explosion of the aforementioned Perez/Lim IG and IG-related Lim SS/TQ/IW stuff is probably the most spectacular though!

Always a wealth of knowledge my friend!
