That’s tough to say, I’d say you are 50/50 between 9.6 to 9.8 .... sorry I can’t give you a more definitive answer.... but I will say , that if I were you I would submit it
-
1) marvel comics 1
2) Captain America comics 1
3) af 15 7.0
4) ff 48 9.8 wp
5) ff 1 8.0
-
Well it’s kind of hard to see a clear shot of the spine but I’d say 9.6-9.8 , if you look at it under the light and you don’t see any stress marks along the spine , chances are it will be 9.8

Indeed. I should probably go way back and look at how much gas cost to drive to that bus... As I recall, .22 gal.
Be sure to also factor in the cost to wharehouse it (heat, hydro, property tax, mortgage ) etc ?

...that's on your profit..... not the total sale. GOD BLESS....

But I believe he found it many years ago discarded in the back of a bus so would total sale = profit?

looking at his feedback, it appears so. Also he sold a $50 Visa gift card for $95 and a $100 Visa card for $145 so something shady is happening with this seller. Is this a money laundering setup?
Whatever is going on, the bottom line is stay away!

I believe he words it deceivingly , he said ‘these pages are scan from original art’ which can be interpreted that he scanned the images in order to post pics , and you are bidding on the original art., and I believe he is selling just that , scanned pages printed out , as opposed to the originals. So unless you are in the market for photo copies, beware

.....if a comic book is duty free coming into the UK, why would I care what the value is on the package label?
Replacement value if it is insured in the event it is lost / damaged?

Thread died. I've seen a few comments where people were very pleased with the quality of the books once in-hand. Any observations on how they're performing in the market?
The iron man 55 9.8 http://www.comiclink.com/Auctions/item.asp?back=%2FComicTrack%2FAuctions%2Fbids%2Easp&id=1165442
Did quite well, finished well above gpa. I believe there are more up for bids on the current comiclink auction as well

Well it’s certainly been fun to see all the stuff listed on comicconnect, and I’m glad there has been ‘fair warning ‘ given , so I can be prepared for a possible purchase.
you definitely put together a very nice collection sir!

Spider Gwen 24 sold out both covers at all Comic shops in Ottawa, and has been selling 2-3x retail on eBay already

Near complete interior art (plus cover) are in The Impossible Collection. I imagine the billionaire owner of said collection would pay a pretty penny to complete that issue.
Wow, that is pretty impressive (not that the impossible collection wasn’t impressive as it was) I wasn’t aware he had oa in 5e collection also. Is there any other oa in his collection?

Where are you getting $75K from?
My guess is he mistakenly thought you had sold the af15 5.0 that you have listed at 75k, instead of glassman10 s at 50k

Just so people don't have an aneurysm reading this, it looks like the cover in question is actually Batman: Gotham Adventures #10.
Ughgh that’s what I get for posting while I was supposed to be on a work conference call
anyhow, aside from me not knowing how to read and copy Comic titles, comiclink really brought their a-game with all the stuff they had listed , that Kirby dr doom page is tremendous, and what a collection of mcfarlane pieces! I’m eager to see what else will be included in the auction

Freudian slip? That link is for Batman: Gotham Adventures #10. Probably not as desirable as Batman Adventures 12.
Good call!

Once again Comiclink is doing their fall feature auction the same time as the comicconnect one, and there are some insane pages in the Comic link one also. (Mcfarlane spawn, spiderman, and hulk pages...Kirby ff4 pieces...etc etc...). All I know is that I’ll be lucky to have a roof over my head after all this action in November!

Amazing site...... ! @NicoV could you add my friends wonderful site moregreatart.com also please?

This Wolverine #75 splash page was listed at $18k, and this price did not change - at least for the 3 last months.
Hefty price tag , let’s hope Anthony Ma ( customer service rep at metropolis/ comicconnect) can hook up time payments on that piece !

A few Lee UXM/XM pages have been auctioned in recent times:
https://comicbookinvest.com/2017/01/13/artist-spotlight-jim-lee/
As for '90s segments which have experienced big price leaps in the last 2 years, Larsen ASM/MCP/SM and Liefeld NM/XF immediately spring to mind. On a smaller scale, Bagley NW/ASM and Lim SS have also jumped.
The explosion of the aforementioned Perez/Lim IG and IG-related Lim SS/TQ/IW stuff is probably the most spectacular though!
Always a wealth of knowledge my friend!
Auctions end this Sunday October 1st at 7pm EST on HA.com

Best of luck with the auctions !
