  1. Floating head and bodies (there's a lot with bodies, I'm not gonna down that rabbit hole...)
  2. There's a bunch of romance covers and also some of his pulps that have FA covers. I have scans, but not on my work PC only on my home one. I'll see if I can find some scans on-line when I have a second.... But yeah that SM 52 is "heads" above the rest! (Sorry, couldn't help it!)
  3. That's pretty cool! Did you have to pay for all of them? I was given an Extreme Studios book back in the day that has 50 or so sigs on it, that's the most I have on 1 book. Side note: I'd do my best to bring books for creators to sign, but if I didn't have one for a creator and I couldn't find anything reasonable to buy on the spot at a con I'd just use the con program. Those things come in handy!
  4. I have a ton of posters and things. I got a free mini-cosmic cube that glows in the dark a handful of years ago that was pretty cool. Cool idea. MAKE IT SO!
  5. It would also be remiss to leave out... https://cloudfour.com/thinks/22-panels-that-always-work-wally-woods-legendary-productivity-hack/ I always loved the Wood quote, "Never draw anything you can copy, never copy anything you can trace, never trace anything you can cut out and paste up."
  6. I'd rather not risk it. And if anyone hasn't seen that referenced image... https://www.invaluable.com/auction-lot/wally-wood-disneyland-memorial-orgy-black-light-p-4553-c-9fc438b8f1 I didn't know there was a color version, I had always seen it in b&w.
  7. I also have this WW artists edition book, only the 1st print. It's a whopping 15" x 22" and 144 pages in b&w. There are a few of these, highly recommended! https://www.ebay.com/itm/275350602435?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=lefrAfTXRTa&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=BN7Dc_4BTJO&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=EMAIL
  8. I have a few plates from this portfolio: NATIONAL CARTOONISTS SOCIETY COMIC ART. I have the Eisner, Steranko, and Wood plates all signed. I won't post a pic for "Wood-ish" reasons ( if you know Wood, you can guess why). However here is a link: https://www.northernstarart.com/product/national-cartoonists-society-comic-art-portfolio-i-3-ltd-ed-s-n-complete-sets/ It's the one with the girl in the tree.
  9. Nice pickups. That Marvel romance book is HYSTERICAL! Don't know what it goes for these days but it's a great pickup!
  10. Great run! I always loved the ann 15 cover, that's my birthday on the newspaper. And you've got done from one of my favorite storylines ever! The PPSSM Gang War! Killer stuff!
  11. I'd love it just for the LB Cole story! Not sure I'd pay a few grand for it, but it's likely worth a few. Congrats and good luck!
  12. Whatever it is / was it's not making anyone stay away. Just over $7k with 11+ hours to go..... stay tuned....
  13. Nice pickup! This is begging to be someone's avatar...
  14. I generally prefer the trade, but if I can get both all the more better. I also like that they are often less expensive, but I did pre-order these 2:
  15. I was entering my 20's around then and in college, but I had friends that worked at both Marvel and DC and I got to not only visit both offices in NYC but also got into and behind the scenes of a bunch of cons and other stuff. I got to know a lot of industry things, and it's a really small community after all. Eventually I wrote articles and reviews for a few years on-line for a few sites too. But man, I heard a bunch of stuff back then. However, that's all another story... feel free to PM me if you want to know anything else. ADD ON: Thank you wiki... [/retro-rant] Back to our regular Spawn-fest!
  16. Good call. Digital coloring really started to come into it's own back then. It was certainly one of the things that helped Image's books stand out on the racks. I think around this time Marvel bought Malibu, not for the characters that they used for 5 minutes and then totally forgot about, but for their coloring department just to try and keep up. I'm pretty sure on that one unless anyone else wants to correct / call me out on that.
  17. $10 says he free-form inked those bats in, no pencil needed. Just a guess..... but still, that'd buy a lotta cheeseburgers....
