I wish I could afford a af15 asm 1 asm 2. Oldest I have is a whipped 3. But the others even low grade are so far from what I could afford.

I just sold a qualified #7 for not too much, and it only had that grade because it was trimmed.  I have a reasonable #16 that needs to make it into a sale thread one of these days too.  Affordable copies are out there!

  2. Other Cole results from today's finishes...

Horrors did pretty well, but it's pretty high grade.  That Power #4 looks like a good deal.

$10.2 on the classic spider cover.  Congrats to the STT #12 winner, that's a stellar book!

Taffy #2 stays as a big $ book.  But look at that TTLR #12!  Sweet love by the fireplace that's a big $ result!!!  Just found out about that one in the romance thread.  Man, I really am starting to think what grades on my copies would have been if I pressed 'em....

I got mine waaaaaaaaay back when.  I wasn't sure I'd ever get a shot at an ASM #1 so I figured I'd at least have that.  Mine is a solid 7.5 (not graded yet), and I recommend searching one out too!

We've seen more Mask 2's than 1's the past year or so but I'm sure #1 would be/is doing just as well. Mask 2 and Punch 12, two unstoppable forces they seem to be. And they're doing it because of their overall coolness and without great big headlights like some book we all know.

I saw what the Punch #12 just got, as I don't have the history with that book like the Mask books, but it seemed to do just fine...  (thumbsu

Nice catch, PH, I'm ready to call it a definite swipe/inspiration (not a mere trace or anything).  I like the Thrills and Chills worked into the northern lights back there, too.

I've got a couple of these polar bear/aurora borealis covers

P.S. Happy to see some Argosy around here, I feel like Argosy/All-Story and similar titles don't get much representation on the boards, maybe because the covers don't tend to be very sensational in nature (there are some in that category, though).

Very nice Charles Vess-like polar bear, wonderfully rendered....  above a hungry flock of gulls trying to pick at the most beautiful dead seal you ever saw.  The artist's sig looks like it was signed by 3 people.  Seriously, cool cover though!
