  1. Idk if anyone is intending on giving the OP "a hard time". I would infer a positive tone when reading comments. When you argue something that is incorrect, I find it necessary to combat that with the truth, though. Not sure if you were referring to me in this comment. Movies just do not create keys. They can increase comic values, but they don't magically turn a comic into a "key" of any kind. Avengers Vol. 4 #12 is expensive right now. It's not a key in any way, shape, or form.
  2. That's not true, since players are constantly leaving both leagues, to join the other. KHL is the 2nd most competitive hockey league in the world. The AHL is a development league, just like the MHL.
  3. A key is a key is a key. Movies do not determine keys.
  4. I would say "weak apathy" if anything. Are you lookin' for one of these?
  5. I think we're counteracting the hype. It gets so much hype for its visuals and I feel the need to detract from it by stating how bland everything else is. Obviously, visuals do not make a good movie alone. They're overrated, in full context of the entire movie, though. A movie like Doctor Strange, while it's "formula" is familiar, combines IMO fantastic visuals with meaningful and independent storytelling.
  6. I would avoid storing in the heart of a dying star. Under snowfall is probably a no-no. Keep away from rain and dirt. Probably don't spill anything on it. You may need the Time Stone to revert its exposure to anything that exists (watch out for spacial paradoxes, time loops, etc).
  7. Is he the King of SS? He had the only signed copy of a book that I could find after looking for 2 years.
  8. My eyes may have already been closed and my mouth a snoring Venus fly trap by then. The writing was so bland, and characters so meaningless, that I honestly couldn't tell you a single thing that happened.
  9. The Professor basically helped transform Pavel Datsyuk into who he is. He taught him, "don't give the puck to the other team". That, along with only having 1 puck in his home rinks (because of athletic poverty) kinda took him to another level since he already had ridiculously phenomenal puck protecting abilities. It's too bad that some of these guys joined the NHL at the tail-ends of their careers. Most North Americans have no idea how amazing they were.
  10. A comic's value may be "relative" to a movie, but that does not transform a non-key book into a key. Yosemite?
  11. That's not how "keys" work. Comic book keys are not relative to comic book movies.
  12. You are 100% correct. It would have been more accurate to post this myself. I was bothered by the misconception that Marvel is somehow a "flagship" anything.
  13. Viacheslav Fetisov may be the greatest defenseman in hockey history.
  14. I was assuming he was talking about cracking a 9.9 Blue for the 1st round of signatures. It may have been a raw before it was graded under SS.
  15. May not have been graded prior to the 1st signature(s) in 2012. Even then, it was cracked multiple times for more signatures. Seems insane.
  16. I'm no expert! Just throwing ideas out there.
  17. Maybe it's a Gem Mint without Miller's signature!
  18. Looks like 6 times, unless there's a method of getting books signed between shows, and retaining SS status. Maybe Frank Miller's signatures wasn't witnessed?
  19. Interesting observation... Too many signatures IMO. I would only want Claremont's, Miller's, and Rubinstein's. Maybe Lee's. I don't understand why the other names were sought after..?
  20. How are Avengers Vol. 4 "keys"..? Just because Iron Man wields the Infinity Stones..? Movies do not determine "key" comics.
