  1. Buy those x-ray glasses from the ad inside old comics.
  2. CGC is the gold standard for me, because I collect almost exclusively Signature Series, and their 3rd-party authority for in-house authentication is unparalleled for signatures I didn't witness myself. I don't trust any other source to validate a signature. Oh well. According to that guy I should just give up and sell the farm.
  3. It's worth whatever someone's willing to pay for it. Anyone else know of a Superman OA collector here that might have a clue?
  4. Just remaking every movie from the 80's and 90's, obviously. Original material is in very short supply these days (part of the reason why comic book properties are so huge).
  5. Has anyone ever thought of doing this before!?
  6. That would be cool. He is immortalized in close to 50 movies (and named on seemingly billions of comic books), though, so a lack of statue wouldn't bother me in any way.
  7. Nothing wrong with this. I won't comment on post-pressing grade, but it looks like around a 2.0 right now, IMO.
  8. Welcome to the CGC boards, James. Batman's at the top of my list, too (with Superman). I've just started collecting the Flash: The Silver Age TPBs for some reading material. I read Flashpoint earlier this year, and it's really great.
  9. I am a perpetual DC Comics supporter both on paper and on the screen. That does not blind one from having a legitimate opinion about one or the other, or competing brands, etc. I suspect that Batman couldn't care less about Endgame being a Marvel Studios production. Obviously, he spent the money to see the movie. He has the right to his opinion. I suspect that I will disagree with it after I see Shazam.
  10. You do realize that your opinion is entirely inconsequential to his opinion, right? You're arguing against his perception. You're wrong. His perception, to himself and expressed as such, is correct. I don't understand why you continually back yourself into these corners.
  11. TDW was so good that it was essential to Endgame's plot and some very special moments.
