  1. You're just jealous that Goose has more charisma than you.
  2. Maybe "insane" was the wrong word. You're blind. The CGI was not good, man!
  3. The former twist that you mention still allows for certain things to be played out later in the MCU. Good-and-evil sides. The latter was a primary villain being turned into a freaking joke. It was not a good twist. The other is just a joke, and nothing more than confusing and angering.
  4. Hell yeah he does! You got anything that ain't nice to say, about Goose, you can bring that doodoo right here son. I'll show you what it is.
  5. I would say it's more of a "tie-in". Like one of those comics you need to read to get the full grasp of the Age of Ultron comic story. It also has some history of the Accusers, Infinity Stones, SHIELD, etc. Without Fury, this would definitely be a weak movie. His inclusion kinda feels like the audience is in the movie. A guy who's figuring everything out along the way. I would expect Endgame to follow Infinity War's serious nature and tone. Stark's smirk wins just because he's a man.
  6. I'd say it's on the same level as Iron Man 3. A lot of people hate on that one, but what it does is prove that Tony Stark is Iron Man. The "twist" on the Mandarin and the "pretend to retire" ending both sabotaged its own movie. Iron Man 3 was a "must-see" back then because there were only 4-6 Avengers .
  7. I think that billing this as a sort-of "must-see" prior to Endgame has virtually guaranteed $1 billion. It's a good movie, but not that good. The Avengers hype, I would think, plays a big part. Good for Disney/MS though.
  8. What's next? Margot Robbie as Sue Storm!?
  9. There are better choices. What's after that? Ben Affleck as Mr. Fantastic!?
  10. I think it has been mentioned (by someone at Marvel Studios, maybe a comic book reference?) that the Time Stone does not allow its user the ability to travel through time pre-possession. They're obviously setting Iron Man up as the key. Is it because he's the only one who would get saved by Captain Marvel on her way to Earth post-Decimation? We won't know until... NEXT MONTH!
  11. Here's my gripe; When he says "SHAZAM" (regardless of how loud), he changes from Billy to Marvel or vice-versa, right? So he can't tell anyone his hero's name? It made more sense to call him Captain Marvel since it wouldn't compromise his secret identity. Small peanuts, but it annoys me.
  12. What's next? Henry Cavill as Doctor Doom!?
  13. He was using the Crimson Bands of Cyttorak to help subdue Thanos. Doctor Strange is another superhero film that I find criminally underrated. While it followed the MCU "origin formula" in many aspects, it also broke the 3rd Act trope. The VFX are phenomenal and unique. I wasn't sure how they would pull it off while making it feel true to source material, but they sure as hell did it!
  14. Almost 30 years in between, though! He was so damn good in Homecoming. Glad he didn't die.
  15. Wong and Mordo did speak about "consequences" in Doctor Strange, though. With Thanos having 4 stones already, including Power and Reality, I don't think he could have achieved the same kind of feat. I guess he definitely couldn't, if he tried it in any of the 14 million circumstances he witnessed. "Time" also works differently in the Dark Dimension, where they said it's "beyond time". I do think that the Time Stone is the most powerful of all 6, if you rank them individually.
  16. I would say that it's as close to 100% as you can fathom, that they will not use any actors currently portraying characters, in the MCU. It's starting to get really weird that Worlds of DC is casting actors that are, or have been, in the MCU. Idris Elba and Dave Bautista are both in line to play parts in that universe.
