  1. They are both finales. Endgame brings a close to MCU Phases 1-3. Alleged "Son of Darkness" ends the Skywalker Saga. Which one will be 'better'? Which one will total more at the box office? After the huge letdown of The Last Jedi, and the overwhelming success story that is Infinity War, I say that A4 takes the cake by a landslide (AINEC). The fact that Endgame doesn't have to retcon or 'fix' anything gives it a huge handicap. Differing opinions? Infinity War totaled about $20 million less than The Force Awakens. Inflation adjustment probably makes that a slightly larger gap. With all of the money talk around here, I figured this would be an interesting topic. Endgame's production cost is about $500 million. I have no idea what Episode 9's costs are.
  2. I found a 'super secret' site that lists how many editions were printed of the HCs. Volumes 8, 9, and 10 have only First Editions. At least 2 editions have been printed for Volumes 1-7. I didn't even think about editions when buying the 2 TPB lots. Now I have to go home and make sure they're all the same. I have OCD, so this will grind my gears if they're not all 1sts lol.
  3. Is this the same guy trying to take Iron Man co-creator credit..?
  4. FWIW, on the copyright page, it says something like this: "Spawns: Origins Collection by Todd McFarlane, Book Ten, First Edition." I think that all of the UPCs/SKUs for these are the same. I'll have to investigate.
  5. Of the 2 "comic shops" I frequent, 1 sells probably 50% comics/TPBs, and the other about 20%. The former also sells toys and the latter sells mostly books.
  6. A result of WB's lack of leadership regarding Worlds of DC. They need a man with a plan, instead of this scattered BS. Or at least convey some sense of continuity. "The Batman will be the Worlds of DC Batman but not within the Worlds of DC." Wtf does that even mean?
  7. Worlds of DC just doesn't have it together top-down. Kevin Feige masterfully planned 3 Phases of the MCU. Outside of Zack Snyder, no one at WB had/has a vision for this extended universe. They only have "guarantees" about 1 year out. The Flash, The Batman, Green Lantern Corps, Man of Steel '2', Cyborg, etc etc etc are all still up in the air. There's no long-term planning, and it hurts themselves. Snyder had plans for BvS, Justice League 1 & 2, and Man of Steel '2'. At least someone had a vision. WB lacks leadership and it kinda pisses me off.
  8. Lmfao. I thought that was 2020? Guess not.
  9. Only one that I'm aware of is Shazam... Which has potential. What other movie?
  10. The Legion of Doom was that Flyers line from the 90's that got castrated by Detroit in the 1997 Stanley Cup Finals. Lindros, LeClair, and Brind'Amour I think. You're high as a kite if you enjoy watching golf. I put that or baseball on when I need some encouragement for a good snooze.
  11. World Wildlife Foundation..? They have a sport..? Hunting..? Soccer is great to play, but it's as boring to watch as golf is. MLB is hardly a "team" game. 1 guy hitting against a bunch of guys. Boring. NFL only actually plays about 25% of the clock. Lazy and boring. NBA has no physicality. They're athletic, but it's easy being cheesy in the breezy. High scores? Boring. UFC is a couple of losers whaling on each other. Where's the skill? Having no fat? Boring. Now, the NHL... Where guys are usually in peak human condition, flying around in razor-blade shoes, on a sheet of ice, handling a cylinder of rubber with a stick, destroying one another with huge body checks flying at 30+ MPH, shooting that biscuit 90+ MPH. Rivalries. Goals mean something as they're all valued the same score. The passing. The intelligence. The systems. The freaking game. Goalies making saves with unnatural athleticism. Fights. Improvisational plays. Pavel Datsyuk. That's it. That's hockey. It's all you need.
  12. Yeah, but, LaBrawn has the weight of 6 Championships lost on his conscience. MJ has no idea what it's like to be that good...
  13. Snyder's cut when he was fired during post-production was over 2-1/2 hours long. The footage is there - it just needs to be polished with CGI. Now, the real question is, are the scenes that were cut still stored somewhere? Snyder's Steppenwolf did not have a humanoid face. Does that original CGI tape still exist?
  14. And the court of public opinion agrees. You're really swimming against the current. If that doesn't tell you that you're wrong, then...
  15. I don't watch basketball and I know that Jordan is better. That's really all that needs to be said.
  16. What the heck does college have to do with the NBA..? "Yeah, Alex DeBrincat is one of the best NHLers ever, because he scored 50 goals in Juniors three times!" ...
  17. I guessed Spawn #1 just based on it being the 4th highest-selling comic book of the Modern Era (behind X-Men #1, X-Force #1, and Superman #75). Thought I was wrong, but no!
  18. Deflecting, again, because you're wrong . MVPs > Career Points. Math is really hard...
  19. You do a lot of deflecting when your argumentative support doesn't hold water.
  20. The guy with 4 less Finals MVPs is better than the guy that was MVP every time he was in the Finals..?
