  1. Wayne Gretzky never won a Cup without Messier, and the Oilers won without The Great One. Doesn't change anything.
  2. Holy carp! Idc about the back cover when the front looks that freaking good.
  3. I normally pre-order them for $300-325. I think they've only printed 500 editions of each set, other than the Masterworks/Famous Firsts, which was printed another time or two. For a complete set of 11 books, I like it for that discounted pre-order price. The artwork on the slipcase itself doesn't really matter to me. It's the books inside that matter.
  4. I wish people (not directed at you, specifically) would stop referencing "DCEU", though. The most official unofficial title is Worlds of DC.
  5. How old is this book? The cover looks that good!? 7.0 IMO.
  6. It's like saying that Gretzky is only The Great One because of Jari Kurri...
  7. I don't watch basketball, but I know Jordan > LeBron. Just like Gretzky > Crosby (AINEC). I do watch hockey, though.
  8. I don't disagree, however, Endgame appears to be unrelated to any of Marvel's comic book events. In that case, collecting the 'greatest hits' of the Avengers makes sense, and I like it. I have a really difficult time figuring out where to start reading some Avengers stories. I have the Famous Firsts book, which collects the first 10 issues of the title, and that's it. I actually just looked at Avengers TPBs (and HCs) yesterday at a store, for a half hour, and just left the store with nothing but confusion... Part of that is they had volumes 1 & 4 of one story, and 2 & 3 of another. I thought it was the same series until I realized that they aren't. There are so many Avengers stories. I feel like this collection will be perfect for me. It'll garner some (likely very little) hype for Endgame, too, which is why these releases have been connected to MCU events. I suppose I should have included the release date for this slipcase set: April 16th
  9. So this cannot be confirmed prior to opening the product? I don't have problems with buying used editions, but I typically look for sealed 1st editions. I thought there might be another method of inspection on the cover.
  10. How much will it burn your buns when Aquaman crosses the $1 billion mark? Just wondering.
  11. 100% winning percentage for both the Finals and MVP is light-years better than 33% of both titles.
  12. Henry Cavill doesn't care about a Snyder Cut. It was Superman's trilogy finale, though, so he probably liked it a lot regardless. Ben Affleck wants to see a Snyder Cut. Gal Gadot doesn't seem to care either way. Jason Momoa wants to see a Snyder Cut. Ezra Miller wants to see a Snyder Cut. Ray Fischer wants to see a Snyder Cut. Ciaran Hinds is disappointed in the theatrical release and wants to see a Snyder Cut. 5/7 of your lead actors/actresses want to see the Snyder Cut. Come on, WB, use your freaking brain(s)! I'm thinking about emailing them and asking if we can crowdfund the assets required to make this thing happen...
  13. Does anyone know how to tell the difference between 1st/2nd/3rd/etc editions of the Spawn: Origins hardcovers? I bought Volumes 9 & 10 for 75% off recently, and I'd prefer to own the 1st prints. I'm guessing that there may be a standard for how to tell edition of books? Is there a method for distinguishing TPB editions, too? One of you has to know! Plz.
  14. As usual, I have no pictures... My dad gave me a Captain America vibranium shield shirt. My mom gave me a Captain America vibranium shield Hallmark ornament and an Infinity Gauntlet coffee mug (the good one).
  15. How is this possible for a movie so "deep in the red"!?
