  1. This is really all that needs to be said. Unless they have presented a new business model to these backers, the people who are donating are just throwing their money away to a brand that will it all away. If they intend on using these 'investments' to obtain new products then maybe something will change.
  2. wut Iron Man? The Incredible Hulk? Hellboy II? War Zone? No.
  3. Old news, that I posted in TLJ thread, and some people didn't believe lol.
  4. I remember, when Google was getting 'big', and I was in 3rd grade. We were taught how to 'accurately' use the Search tool. Most people don't know how to use parentheses and plus-signs to refine their searches. Also, as you say, current youths have no idea to communicate to a search engine (among other things/people).
  5. I took a look at a few Venom issues and just didn't see or read anything compelling. I have not read Thanos. That's another one I have to take a look at.
  6. What the hell? That trailer sucks! This doesn't look good. What a let down for a 1st trailer.
  7. I think a 5.5 is in order. No idea what a cleaning will do.
  8. IMO it shouldn't. Not that they care about my opinion...
  9. I haven't taken a stab at Daredevil. I'll take a look next Wednesday. I also haven't had a chance to grab (Immortal?) Hulk #1. Venom just doesn't interest me. Iron Man and Thor both being duds really bothers me. The Iron Man writing is so bad and the Thor artwork doesn't look good at all IMO. Those turned me off to giving ASM a chance for a whole month. ASM and X-Men have given me more hope to continue looking at Marvel titles, though.
  10. I think that most sellers are more level-headed than buyers. Everyone wants a deal, even if it means that the sale is priced at a fair number. There are crackhead sellers, though, that want $5k+ for Infinity Gauntlet #1 signed by Stan Lee when you can buy the entire 6-issue set, signed, for half of that from other stores...
  11. My mom recently went on a low-carb diet. I always wanna get pizza whenever I visit her lol. Broccoli is a strange one to like (outside of chicken alfredo and cheesy dishes). Good on you for that.
  12. I have to agree here... Sometimes I 'feel' like I'm "low-balling" a seller, but sometimes their asking price is absolutely ridiculous. Is their price 2X what they expect to actually get? I never know.
  13. Little-to-no re-watch value is more likely.
  14. Free/cheap shipping gives buyers a major woody. I'll be honest - it gives me a half-chub. I'll pay $20 w/free shipping before I pay $19 with $0.99 shipping on principle alone.
