  1. I've heard similar opinions on The Flash. I really love the New 52 Justice League run. I've heard that Aquaman and The Flash were the highlights for the solo characters, and that the Trinity had good runs as well. It looks like the titles that ended around issue #40 were "replaced" with new titles released for Wave 2. The New 52 is a good place to start for me in collecting whole runs. They're all around 55-65 issues, and complete stories (and very relatively new - making them fairly cheap to buy). I did a good amount of research in putting this list together. I think it's pretty accuate and complete. Some of my sources may have been incomplete, though, so just double-checking.
  2. You can't tell him what to do you're not his dad! But, yes, I would return this book...
  3. I'm interested in collecting all of DC's New 52 runs that went the distance from Genesis to Revelation. I already have all of Justice League. I'm hoping that the community here can verify, or correct, this list's accuracy on the subject. So... The original list is based on volume size (50+ issues), so I'm sure that there will be inaccuracies right off-the-bat. All of your collected help is appreciated! I will update the list as corrections are posted. Here are the 52 titles they began in 2011 (bolded are the ones that did not end prior to 2016): Action Comics All-Star Western Animal Man Aquaman Batgirl Batman Batman and Robin* Batman: The Dark Knight Batwoman* Batwing Birds of Prey Blackhawks Blue Beetle Captain Atom Catwoman DC Universe Presents Deathstroke Demon Knights Detective Comics The Flash Frankenstein, Agent of SHADE The Fury of Firestorm Green Arrow Green Lantern Green Lantern Corps* Green Lantern: New Guardians* Grifter Hawk & Dove I, Vampire Justice League Justice League Dark* Justice League International Legion Lost Legion of Super-Heroes Men of War Mister Terrific Nightwing OMAC Red Hood and the Outlaws* Red Lanterns* Resurrection Man The Savage Hawkman Static Shock Stormwatch Suicide Squad Superboy Supergirl* Superman Swamp Thing Teen Titans Voodoo Wonder Woman 12/52 titles would be a bad losing % if accurate... (20 titles with 40+ issues runs.)
  4. Is that a picture of the re-neg "buyer" in your avatar..?
  5. I didn't know that collecting sealed vinyl is a thing... Collecting vinyl in and of itself is cool. Sealed vinyl..? Eh... Graded vinyl? Don't get me started...
  6. ASM = Amazing Spider-Man, right..? With poor lighting, I'm guessing it's a 3.0.
  7. Do the other losers even have a census? I don't think print runs are disclosed by manufacturers, so asking for a total of "what's out there" is too tall a task.
  8. Says the guy with 5 posts prior to this one... Last I checked, people don't consume elements. This lack of scientific accuracy makes your attempted joke fall too flat to be considered humor.
  9. Seeing it on Wednesday. The CGI final battle in Wonder Woman really tainted the 2 hours of great storytelling that preceded it. Considering that this climax will probably occur underwater, I really have to convince myself to let it go if it plays out the same. Big difference is it was a 1-on-1 with Diana. If Aquaman involves armies of stuff in battle then it makes more sense. If it's a battle between Arthur and Orim or Manta, then I hope that's focused on a smaller scale.
  10. Irrelevant questions. Good to know that anyone who doesn't agree with your opinion on anything is "peeing on it". I've tried to agree to disagree, but the defenders of this hobby don't seem interested in unemotional discussion. Disappointing. Enjoy the holidays.
  11. Quoting before you edit and add paragraphs to make it look like an informal response was submitted. I'm not your "bro".
  12. So... Buying something that you want for 95% off isn't shrewd buying..? Did you read this before submitting..?
  13. Wrong. I don't buy things that I don't want. There are no guarantees to resale. This is a fundamentally flawed opinion of yours. Truth hurts. You seem to be threatened by the fact that you're collecting graded gaming packages. Not sure why you're making assumptions about other people that have no foundation. It's kinda childish.
  14. That's hilariously ironic and objectively incorrect. Since I didn't buy these for resale, your "you're making" comment is entirely irrelevant. The outlook isn't as an investment. I bought them because it's expensive to own these sealed products of games that I love. Regardless of the irrelevant tangent you're branching out into - all of the previously mentioned criticisms of grading a package stand. Being 99th percentile is great company. I'm not going to spend my money on that I don't care about. The only guarantees in life are death and taxes. There's no guarantee that, even if I tried to sell these, that they get sold. That's why the adage around here about buying comics you love vs buying them for an investment makes the most sense. Edit: I suggest that some people, not the poster that I'm responding to in particular, take emotions out of this conversation. I don't see any anger being harbored here. Kinda shows that some people are actually 'speaking' objectively while others are taking this to heart. Truth hurts...
