  1. I'm torn on what to think. On the one hand, I think he may figure out how to "control" time vortexes in brief exploration of the QR, but JVD said that they "wouldn't be able to save" him (and I think Luis or his daughter finds the van to save him). She could be wrong, though, because Pym didn't think he could escape the QR prior to Lang as Ant-Man. Overall, I think he figures out time vortexes, gets saved by Luis/Cassie, and uses his knowledge with Stark and Shuri to create wrist-band Quantum "Tunnels" to travel back in time. All this, of course, is influenced by the "recreation" of the BoNY set photos (which may or may not even occur in this movie)...
  2. I was 50/50 with the title. In my heart/gut, I felt it was Endgame, but (as mentioned above) the silence on the Annihilation running rumor was just too damning to me. I find it hilarious that Hawkeye is mostly a useless Avenger, but everyone seemingly "missed" him in Infinity War. I didn't. Ronin isn't as useless to me as Hawkeye, though. Swords > Bow/Arrow. I guess the family treatment in Age of Ultron really payed off..?
  3. Care to elaborate? Are you implying that a GED, equivalent, or higher education is a valid measurement for intelligence? History lesson for you: GPA of 0.6. Expelled for Zero Tolerance purposes. Under-30 with a salary over $70k.
  4. Submits post. Edits every single post 10+ minutes later to include paragraphs of "information" and conjecture to make it look like post was initially contributing more to conversation than it actually was. Impossible to have a conversation like this. I didn't buy Castlevania and FF to "slab". I bought them because they were dirt cheap and worth $$$$$. Doesn't make this hobby make any more sense when 99+% of the art is contained in programmed data that cannot be extracted without an expensive device (+ expensive peripherals required to use said device with modern equipment).
  5. I've never seen a "TAN" PQ. Thank you. Learn something new everyday.
  6. Complete Marvel slipcase collection. Buy CGC Gem 10 New Zealand Mint DC cover replicas. All 6 Infinity Gauntlet issues CGC SS 9.8s. Get all 6 Infinity CGC 9.8s signed by InHyuk Lee (somehow). Spawn #1 CGC 9.9 signed by TM ($$$$$). Spawn Origins HC 1-4. Action Comics #1000 CGC SS all 8 decade variants, Foil variant, and Sketch variant. Avoid getting suspended from the CGC boards again...
  7. No, but I suspect it's Luis (his van) or his daughter somehow activating/deactivation the Quantum Tunnel after finding the van and seeing no support.
  8. I don't see how some of you can say this is a "bad" trailer. It gave us looks at all of the original Avengers, a small glimpse of Nebula, but also surprisingly a look at Ant-Man while no Rocket. A tease, fake or otherwise, of the looming end for Tony Stark (I don't see how he can continue to live within the MCU and not be Iron Man - he won't retire - he has to die IMO). Depressed Rogers, Romanoff, Banner, and Thor. Official Ronin reveal (RIP Barton family). Recreation of the Thanos armor scarecrow from the comics (Russo Bros continue to creep into Snyder reputation for paying respect to source material). Marvel Studios/Russo Bros said that there will be no promotion of any "dusted" characters throughout the entirety of this film's advertisement period. Rightfully so. I can respect and understand not "loving" this trailer, but I don't see how it can be "bad" - at all. I love the film title omission from the trailer title. Love the description. The goading-you-into-an-emotional-Stark-death-preview opening, the lack of information while also providing nice visuals, and hype music is all great. They said that this movie "doesn't do what you think it does". I hope that this is the truth, as opposed to the title lies.
  9. Sweet Baby Jesus, I can post! Endgame was always the title. It was accidentally leaked by a cinematographer, on his personal website resume, who worked with the Russo Bros on The Winter Solider, Civil War, Infinity War, and this latest installation. He changed it to say "Avengers 4" within 24 hours because someone noticed this and it became widespread. Annihilation was just another false rumor suggested and run with by fans, including myself. The silence by Disney/Marvel/Russos made it seem real. In the back of my mind, I was always betting it would be Endgame, but as I said, that silence from the officials seemed damning...
  10. Can I report this post because I brought pizza to work for lunch and now I've lost my appetite..?
  11. Couldn't tell you. There's probably someone out there with a slabbed copy of The Amazing Spider-Man #1 that was printed this year. I'm not blanket-defending every collecting choice, but comics vs video games is an easy one. I don't have an Atari, so buying a graded copy of Golf gives me nothing to appreciate at any point in time without investing time/money into something else. If I won the lottery on Saturday, I could buy a low-grade Action #1 and read it in the same day. Or, just read the reprint that I have at home...
  12. Hold my beer while I try to figure out how to hook my vintage N64 into my 4KTV that has no aux input for those red/yellow/white cables... You can enjoy a comic book with 0 prerequisites other than your eyes being able to see.
  13. I can crack a slab and read a comic, though. If I crack an encapsulated video game, all I have to look at is some plastic with circuitry (or a disc, etc)...
  14. How I Met Your Mother reference. I didn't even graduate high school...
  15. Great quality is all that matters, as a fan, which is why DC should release the Snyder Cut for Justice League... We, as fans, shouldn't be able to care less about the $$$$$ studios make. Comic book movies shouldn't be geared to general audiences. I don't care if Karen doesn't know who Vulko is - us comic book readers would - and he should've been in Justice League. Stay true to source material (not completely, as we do need changes and surprises to stay interested) and stop pandering to critics and know-nothings, film studios. Yes, they need to make money and yes, they need to entice general audiences. Look at what the MCU has accomplished, though. People know who Iron Man and The Avengers are because of good-to-great quality movies that started a foundation where the casual moviegoers are actually interested in the properties despite not being original comic readers. Marketing and high-quality films will draw crowds.
  16. You find out how much it's worth by how much someone is willing to pay for it.
  17. You should be ashamed. I had no idea there was a "limit"...
