  1. I mean, I'm cool, but your math would still be off. FYI: Name-calling is against the posting guidelines. I suggest you read through them to avoid warnings and suspensions.
  2. "...that's not what I said." A little hypocritical.
  3. 3 weeks = 21 days. December 4th + 21 days = December 25th, 2018...
  4. But, we're measuring time. 2000 and 2001 are 2 different operating years, but the distance between those operating years is 1. CGC can't be 19 years old in 2018.
  5. Pretty sure that, this year, they crossed the 2-million book threshold.
  6. If the gift that I bought isn't shipped by tomorrow, I'm gonna lose it (the minor amount of sanity I have left for 2018)...
  7. Great, another eBay thread. That's exactly what this site needs...
  8. 5 million collectibles. About 2 million comic books. 60 minutes per hour (x) 40 hours per week (x) 52 weeks (x) 18 years: 2,246,400 minutes, not including vacation time, and not including holidays off. That means, on average, they're grading about 1 book per minute.
  9. To disclose page quality. IMO it's important. Aging is simply part of the art equation. I think it's significantly important to modern books. I personally won't collect any modern with any PQ below "WHITE". If pre-modern books have "WHITE" PQ, then I think it shows that a lot of care was taken in preserving the condition of the book. Some people may not care about PQ. Having an NM book with any PQ is more important than low-quality with "WHITE" PQ, though. There are significant amounts of different collecting preferences. PQ is just another number in the equation.
  10. My understanding is that PQ does not affect a book's grade. If a book is in NM+ shape, PQ can be "CREAM", and still be a 9.8. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
  11. Most times, I get sellers that automatically refund shipping if I win/buy multiple items, but sometimes I wonder if they're gonna make me pay $50 for 10 books that each have a $5 shipping cost (and end up only actually costing the seller $10 to ship). I think you did nothing wrong. It's just common courtesy (I guess not as common as it should be).
  12. You're telling me that you can't enjoy re-watching Iron Man, Thor, The Avengers, The Winter Soldier, Guardians of the Galaxy, Age of Ultron, Civil War, Doctor Strange, Ragnarok, etc etc etc..? There are so many re-watchable MCU films. I liked the 1st trailer more, but part of that is the music, and another part is the the Avengers 4 trailer drops tomorrow... I think that Brie Larson was a fine casting choice. I think this trailer is just informing the uninformed about Skrulls, Kree, how she's a human made super, that Fury is heavily-involved, etc. It's a good trailer, but, the Avengers 4 trailer is dropping tomorrow... Captain Marvel will have my full attention when I see it in theaters, but when that A4 trailer is dropping within 2 days of this one, 95% of my attention and interest is going to be vested in that...
  13. I have a feeling, based on the cover, that overall it is a 1.0.
  14. This, but, the OP has failed to provide us with any evidence of this accusation. 1 incomplete, low-quality, image isn't providing any sort of case to the public (us) that they "under-graded" this book.
  15. We're talking about the top-left, correct? Personally, I would return it. Undisclosed flaw, and IMO an eye sore for such a massive key issue.
  16. The CGC search engine can sometimes spit out way too many results. I would Google search "CGC Classic Cover" if that's the case. There are at least a few topics within this forum on the 1st page of results.
  17. Part of what makes the 1st Avengers movie great is the fact that they had the villain dispose of a character that was instrumental in bringing the team together. That was something sorely missing in Age of Ultron. They should have killed off Hawkeye - who brought everyone to his home to recoup - instead of the just-introduced Quicksilver. Coulson was very witty in a funny way throughout Phase 1. I agree with you that he could definitely be the comedic punch for this movie.
  18. Use the search engine. There are more than a couple "CGC Classic Cover" topics that exist.
  19. Captain Marvel Official Trailer #2 tonight during MNF on ESPN. Avengers: Annihilation Official Trailer #1 Wednesday Morning on ABC's GMA.
