  1. It seems like comiccollectorlive.com has some good lists for homage covers, but I'm not sure how complete they are. It's a good start.
  2. Remember in Infinity War, when Bucky, Cap, T'Challa, and Banner are all being overwhelmed by the Outriders, and then the Bifrost booms, Strombreaker turns the tides, Silvestri's Avengers theme brings your goosebumps to their weakest knees, and Thor's appearance is one of the most glorious entrances in cinematic history? @MyCameo posting in a topic is literally the exact opposite reaction.
  3. Please highlight these non-existent "lies". They don't exist. Go back to the PGX boards!
  4. Yeah, I kinda regretted making that statement after posting. I can't be certain that their practices have always been perfect, but it seems like they always have been.
  5. Maybe, but you can't make up stories about this for CGC. It's fairly common knowledge that CBCS has questionable "authentication" practices. CGC has been air-tight for 18 years now. What happened is factual. You can claim otherwise, but this book is out there, slabbed by CBCS as an "authenticated" signature, and while it is a real signature, CBS never witnessed it.
  6. Do your own research. My friend got a book signed at a Michigan Comic Con this year that CBCS authenticated without witness. Because of CBCS/PGX practices, he didn't opt into CGC's services.
  7. Despite them alleging that this is the case, they do not follow this procedure to the extent that they're disclaiming.
  8. So... You have a problem with people sharing information that you already posted..? What, exactly, is your problem? What's your allegation based on, guessing that, "I didn't read the thread before I posted"? I did read the thread, and I couldn't care less about your previous post. I decided to insert my own.
  9. Not 100% of the time, and that makes all of their "Signature" products questionable.
  10. Unless you got it signed yourself, there are no guarantees that it's a legitimate King signature. That's why CGC's SS products are awesome. It's too bad they only started-up in 2000.
  11. Well, since they're the only grading service to require company observed authentication, it's not uncommon to think that they're the only ones truly qualified to be authorities on the matter. I don't think people realize how lucrative forged signature business could/would be if CGC wasn't the king of comic grading services. I could double my salary easily.
  12. Had to be the 70's or 80's. He didn't go to conventions in the 90's or 2000's (passed in 2006).
  13. This is the correct spot for this post. My grading skills are very amateur. IMO it's a: 3.5
  14. No way in hell. My grandfather got his signature a few times in the 80's an IIRC it was $40-50 back then.
