  1. Killing Joke animated movie anyone? Just.... ugh.
  2. It's kind of mesmerizing, really. Probably based on a real-life encounter at Mickey D's.
  3. Stunning. Thanks for posting that. How big is it?
  4. When Moses comes down from the mountain, put down your false idols and listen people!
  5. My guess is that this is an ad blocker gone awry. Do you have one installed? If so, try disabling it or dig into its settings and reset it to defaults as a test. Also, try a force refresh on the CAT page -- Shift-Ctrl-R.
  6. @artcollector9Do you still have a pic of Icarus? Still my fav BWS.
  7. Does Jack-in-the-box still have those amazing grey-green Grade-D meat fried tacos? I gave up meat years ago, but I still dream of those.
  8. If I were to, I'd go full cartoon... Charles Schulz, Terry Moore, Yale Stewart. How cool would it be to be a Peanuts character? or 90s Image... Liefeld, Lee.
  9. That doesn't surprise me. So many global collectors these days. And you're better off without the convention overhead!
  10. Amateur hour compared to Dallas or Houston. That's why I'm in NYC... sans car!
  11. Gold star! But Rice's books would've given all of the midwestern housewives straight up heart attacks.
  12. Kingpin's diamond-encrusted walking cane knob doesn't bode well. (A related note about jewel-encrusted handles... Did anyone ever read Anne Rice's Sleeping Beauty erotica? Anyone here get the reference? Am I on the wrong board again?)
  13. Tea baths are what all the cool forger kids are using. And props to Jeremy Bastian for "aging" his prints this way. Very cool.
  14. Nico already did! CAT had the guessing game, but it kind of fizzled out from lack of participation. I would say that since the buy in price for OA collecting is relatively low*, you may not need to play it fantasy-style. *Another hint/nudge/poke/bump/tickle that Best of... Budget Edition is coming!
  15. Whoa... Somebody's medical office REALLY needed that Dr. Doom splash. Well done!
  16. Copper Age... It's what's for dinner. ® In it's defense, it's more about black costume Spidey than Byrne, imo. That highly-graphic silhouette has a lot of wall appeal and is very exemplary of the era.
  17. Spec Spidey 101 cov at $90K! Copper age is strong with this one.
  18. Just wanted to offer my services again before the auction... For a 2% fee, I will completely justify any and all reasons you have for bidding on a particular piece. I will make you feel confident, secure, and powerful in your choices. For a 5% fee, I will point out all of the reasons you should NOT bid on a lot, thereby saving you wheelbarrows of cash and lifting an existential weight. For a 10% fee, I will authenticate any lot. Comes with a a free certificate and will absolutely hold up in court when the heirs come for you. For a 35% fee, I will auction your art myself. PM me!
  19. My fav cover of his is coming up for auction- https://www.icollector.com/Ken-Kelly-original-painting-Chamber-of-Illusions_i34887399
  20. Oh yeah, I forgot about Big Apple. Many dealers are there too. I was just thinking either of the NY or NJ shows could move from Spring to Winter. That might space it out a bit.
