  1. Agreed! Congrats, Brian. One of the great DC Silver Books of all time. The OW PQ is a real + for this book as most copies come with inferior PQ.
  2. Great addition to your 10-cent DC collection, Dale. That's a real nice copy. Congrats!
  3. Great books. Love pre-Adventure Comics 300 Legion Appearances. Your 267 is a sweet copy. Hard to find in that grade.
  4. That's one pretty book, Dave. It's always been one of my favorite Adventure Comics covers; the combination of orange and blue are just striking. And of course I love pre Adventure Comics 300 Legion stories. Congrats on the pickup!
  5. Love your Detective Comics 400 and it sure looks a lot better than a 7.5. If you ever upgrade, LMK; I'll be glad to take this copy off your hands. Beautiful book and I'm impressed with your Bronze Age Adams's books.
  6. Nice small run there. EM is much underrated. It even took me a long time to find his first appearance as I was looking for a presentable mid-grade copy with great colors. At the same booth at SDCC back about four years ago there was a slabbed 9.0 copy with great PQ but the dealer's asking price was three grand--and he wasn't budging! I don't know if EM is worth that much so I passed and bought this copy instead for less than a hundred bucks. Keep sharing your Flash books; still my favorite DC character.
  7. Beautiful books. Love the DC Annuals of the 1960s and 1970s. Here are a couple of early books in the title: Flash 112: Origin of the Elongated Man. Great story, great art, great book. Waiting for him to appear on the TV show. () Flash 118--2nd appearance of The Trickster. May just be my imagination but harder to find in grade than his first appearance.
  8. The condition of that book is unreal!!! those old DC are rare in grade and this is extra special for having the distinction of being published same time as SC 4, but also has side kick reboot, which many of us feel is significant signal that the silver age was being birthed. That is coming from a Marvel guy, who always had a weak spot for Aquaman thanks to the Saturday morning cartoons. One heckava book, my friend. Love the colors, love DC Silver, love Adventure Comics, love the book--no matter the grade.
  9. One of my favorite issues of the era. Great cover!! Congrats!
  10. Now that's a beauty!! Flash was my favorite DC hero growing up!! Loved the DC cartoons, the 1990 live-action version and today's series on the CW. But most of all I loved the comics.
  11. It may be rough, but it's a key issue. Wish I had a copy. Nice pickup. Agreed! Great book in any grade and great story.
  12. One of my favorite books in the history of the medium. I still think it's way undervalued and should rank up there with Marvel Books from the same time period. That's a great copy, my friend. I still have my raw copy I bought in the late 199os at Comic-Con International and an acceptable raw reading copy as well. You have great taste!!
  13. Dang! That is a beautiful copy, Brandon. I just love your HG Bronze Actions, If you ever have multiples, shoot me a PM.
  14. Beautiful copy, my friend. I just love Neal Adams' Batman covers. Great pickup!
  15. Now that is a fantastic looking book! Oh how I miss mine. Mind my asking what you did with your copy!
  16. You Had a CGC 9.2 with White Pages of Showcase 30 and you sold it? For gosh sakes, why didn't you sell it to me? And I thought we were BFF. I guess I'll have to reconsider. ()
  17. That is one dynamite book, my friend. What a fantastic cover. Love the colors, too. It's also the first 12-center and I love the Big Box 12 cent books. Congrats!
  18. My favorite DC War book in my collection for obvious reasons. Good cover and nice mid-grade copy of a major key in the DC canon:
  19. Great get!!! (And you perhaps mean Superboy 68, not 86 ....) No, I meant Superboy 86, the 1st appearance of Pete Ross and fourth Legion of Superheroes appearance!
  20. That is a beauty, my friend. Congrats!
  21. A nice mid-grade copy of one of my favorite Showcases. Dale Roberts at Comic-Con packaged this book with another DC, Superboy 86 and gave me a great price. I've loved this book for years and finally found an affordable copy.
  22. Cross-Post. Second 12-center and I love the Big Box 12 cent DCs.
