  1. probably accurate. I meant the first post is usually, "Hi been lurking a while and thought I'd join in" I harken back to my illustrious first post. Boy.... did I name names and shake things up.
  2. Since you're down on the Knicks I thought I'd mention an actual scorer.
  3. Beg pardon? Think of me as the Kevin McHale of comics. You aint getting it back.
  4. The label of dealer and collector are remnants of the past. We just a bunch of people buying and selling comic books. S Cept I never sell. I'm a black hole.
  5. I agree. Not to isolate any one person, but anyone who wonders why so many major collectors and dealers stay away from these boards just needs to read above at the childish and/or unnecessary banter that was posted by some people. Not only does this thread address a very serious issue between two collectors that has now unfortunately taken a public turn before resolution, but the response by others certainly doesn't encourage new forumites who wish to discuss serious issues to join these boards. I disagree except for this statement a very serious issue between two collectors that has now unfortunately taken a public turn before resolution What are people supposed to do when someone waltzes in here and drops this wordy speech on us (the public ) Are we then limited to popcorn as we watch the thread fall off the first page? In fact Mr. Anderson has been welcomed a few times. And since the great Shill-round-up-2006 has occured, no one can say the shills are attacking him. SO far it's been a good thread (as good as it's start has set the tone)..... But what I'm afraid we are going to see is an Elitism arise and say certain unsavory elements aren't allowed to be here while the big boys are talking. Welcome to the Boards Mr. Anderson. Please take the advice of forum member Sal and cruise on down to the GoldenAge forum.
  6. Uhh yeah, some Tomahawks. Nice novelty title produced by DC Meanwhile Those Millies were fantastic.
  7. 2 HG Tomahawk's in the row and he notices a Subby I liked the Conan.
  8. # 703 (Scamp 1) I'm probably the only guy here that likes these. But that's ok with me.
  9. You are clearly a negative influence on these boards...you even made a lawyer cry. Nik does this quite often. He scared off a lot of the overrated "old-timers" who are too weak-kneed to return.
  10. Hopefully no one thought I was complaining. Although I'm against that sort of tactic, I rarely buy so it's never really a problem for me. I do think it is risky as the seller may insert a high priced Fair condition Devil Dinosaur while your quick replying with an . All I ask is that people doing this be prepared to follow through with this quick replying even if it back fires on you. The rest of us are somehow supposed to believe the buyers intent if someone starts to back out. This hasn't exactly happened yet, nor may never happen.
  11. Using the quick reply will just throw your post in at the bottom and it will attach it to the most recent post. If you were going to call someone a Spoon using the quick reply and in the meantime someone else posted, your quick reply would be attached to the bottom of the most recent post. Your insult is then rendered ineffective towards the more deserving individual and now you've upset someone else entirely. Get in a habit of using the regular reply. I would like to see someone stuck with buying something they didn't want by using the quick reply while the seller makes an additional post. And buyers that don't bother to specify should be prepared to make good on this kind of gamble. Course it helps when the seller is bringing out quality books each time. Not that risky....this time.
  12. Not saying you're wrong but I didn't see the word "reply" in his post and therefore interpreted it as One book for sale, one thread. But I also could be wrong as it was vague.
  13. Many times Thank goodness, I don't know why you're so adamant about this. Lives must hang in the balance. No offense. You've definitely broke my silence.
  14. The thought of that makes my eyes bleed.... Ultimate Car Wash Covers Thread
  15. I did a search and found his name attached to these periodicals as well according to the library of Michigan State. "Bunce, Bill.
