  1. This guy writes in his eBay profile:

Have been around comics my whole life. I have tons of Jack Kirby comics, also I have a huge collection of Stan Lee comics that he signed and also other various Artists. I also go to just about every Con so I get a ton of new stuff all the time.

    I think it should read:

Have been conning buyers of comics my whole life. I have tons of Jack Kirby forged comics, also I have a huge collection of Stan Lee comics that I signed myself too, and also other various Artists who's signature I'm learning to fake. I also go to just about every Con so I get a ton of new stuff all the time, I buy this for a buck and sell it for a hundred or more, I'm a genius!

    What a scumbag!

It should also be noted that in the event you were hoping to sell and grade ANY book, make sure to factor in that being in Europe will likely factor in to your realizable final sales price, as your market will be somewhat limited, and possibly even more limited depending on how/when Brexit resolves.

Ain't that the truth! I thought I'd roll the dice and sell a load of duplicates at auction with 99p start, basically had to give away a lot of them for the start price, not rubbish either Silver age, eBay sucks!

Ouch, that big red stain on the top front cover on an otherwise nice book is just painful.  Unfortunately, grading is very unforgiving for large stains/soiling/water damage.  There's also minor foxing on the upper back cover just to be complete, but the stain is really the defining defect.  Does the stain affect interior pages or just front cover?  If it affects interior pages, the grade could take another 0.5 hit.

    5.0

That stain I believe is distributor ink. I don't think it effects the grade at all.

9.0 is my thinking. Beautiful book!

  4. Hello all, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE take a look at my eBay auction! https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/barkeuk_sdwax/m.html?item=202420109702&ssPageName=STRK%3AMESELX%3AIT&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2562

150+ books! Silver and Bronze age, all starting at 99p! Ending this weekend. The watch count is not what I would have expected and I have a horrible feeling most of this stuff will go for a maiden bid or not at all! It's just bizarre! 50+ year old books with zero interest. There's some real gems I'm selling.... Postage to the states £18 !

    Check them out! Cheers :)
