  1. Just a heads-up to all that the pages of Issue 192 have already been leaked and are on the Facebook Group TWD Spoilers. There was a headline which I won't put here and then a full page but I only caught a glimpse and quickly looked away. At any rate, if you want to enjoy any surprises with 192, heads-up to be wary of social media today. Unfortunately I am on a business trip to Denver and Toronto so can't get my books until Friday evening.
  2. You sir, are incredibly gifted and talented. Amazing artwork.
  3. First Walker Cover. NEW CASE 9.8 Signature Series Kirkman. First posting gets it. $100 plus postage $10 additional for USPS Priority shipping. Payment via PayPal.
  4. Uh let me think on that. Suppose you want free shipping too 😂
  5. Tell you what. If we arrive at a price, I will ship you a 10 foot pole for free.
  6. I love it but everybody has their price 😉
  7. My favorite sketch book. It is a full wraparound. See the second image. I love the macabre baby hand hanging out of the crib. And the detail of the bloody drips on the stuffed bunny.
  8. You hit on something about looser vs stricter grading. That happened in coins and all the early more strictly graded coins either sold for higher values (they were nicer for the grade or a grade above) or people cracked them out and resubmitted them for higher grades. I know a guy who made a $200K profit on one coin doing this. Reward higher than risk. Do people do this with comics?
  9. Did you have those boxes custom made, or build them yourself? Where did you get the art for the box tops? Very cool.
  10. I’ve got about 200 raw NM/NM+ books 28 to 191 with many variants in MyLites mylar covers on my office bookshelf. Have 3 BCW CGC containers and a medium safe for the graded stuff. Not collecting graded books for the full series, just 1-50, first appearances and a few other fun things like Hero Initiative.
  11. Are those custom graphics on the lids? Very cool but yeah, you will need 4-5 of these after the TWD 200+ book explosion
  12. First, I sincerely thank you for your service. It does mean a lot to me. I was working in Singapore for 3 years, so an easy jumping-off point for the rest of Asia. There were 2 times when carrier groups came into the port and we hosted parties for some sailors at our condo complex. We had 40-50 guys we gave a good-old-fashioned American BBQ. It was awesome. And really interesting. The vast majority of guys wanted to go to the clubs, I'm sure some because prostitution is legal in Singapore. But there were always about 5 guys that just wanted to hang out and stay all evening, just drinking beers and talking. Which was great. One of them got me a tour of the carrier the next day, which was beyond awesome. OK, back to the topic!!!!
  13. Only in pictures. I do snorkeling, so only go down about 15 feet for a couple minutes then back up. Which is more than enough for exploring reefs. But I am not scuba certified.
  14. Yeah, those were awesome but my total "relaxation place" is when we went to snorkeling at Australia's Great Barrier Reef and I spent 20 minutes cruising around together with a large Sea Turtle. Nothing but silence under the water, just me and the turtle. May sound silly but it was a pretty amazing experience. OK, I think we are now seriously off topic!
  15. Thailand (x4), Bali (x2), and 2 trips where we rented private islands in Indonesia and Malaysia. Those last 2 were awesome, 6 families with the island all to ourselves.
  16. Lived in Asia for 3 years. (On assignment from my company in Texas). Took 14 vacations to places I would have never dreamed of. Spent all discretionary money on travel. I wouldn’t trade those life experiences for any comic in the world.
  17. I have an automatic brake pedal - if I don’t have the money saved up or available in a non-important fund I need to save, I slow down or wait a bit. I’m not raiding the kid’s college fund for comics LOL. If a really difficult book pops up, I discuss with my wife where I think we need to make tradeoffs. She has her own hobby too so we’re a pretty good team on the finances.
  18. Seen Buffet a few times, once was in a tropical depression leftover from a hurricane which seemed appropriate
  19. Me too. 5 regular, 3 blank. Looks like a major new chapter for TWD. Thanks for the heads-up Big Clutch!
