  1. I’d send it to auction . No way to know . If the rumours are true that a copy 9.8 sold privately ( unconfirmed ) for 200K it could bring a 9.6 well over 100K. It’s just speculation but well worth trying to find out
  2. Wow some of my holiest of holy grails there. MM 1,4,8,9 Subby 4,5 just eye porn!!!!
  3. Love the colour and placement of that signature . Congrats
  4. #2 for sure as issue 1 continues to soar in almost all printings the next book to follow is issue 2. Now there are some cool variants like NYCC #3 and second print of issue 4 but overall I think the 1 mousers, Baxter and April and second turtles is a big book .
  5. He must have been tipped off or maybe they are reading this thread . In any case I have feeling this seller is getting boned on this sale
  6. What that would do for 8.5,9,9.2,9.4,9.6 would be mind boggling . Over night those grades could double in value
  7. With signatures on cover I dislike when the sigs are on top of the graphics . If they are along the black border ( which is very uncommon ) that’s nice but I think being inside keeps the cover appeal at a maximum and adds that special factor knowing they are inside . So I like inner more but wouldn’t pay extra for that
  8. I’d that’s true all grades and prints will start to pull upwards again. That’s huge if confirmed
  9. Understood me personally I’m not spending thousands on a maybe it was . I’m happy with one signed whenever . Save me some money as well I do understand the allure to a book to a collector that has it all ….
  10. I get it but a signature is a signature and sorry if I sound ignorant do we actually know when they signed interiors ? Or is it just an assumption ?
  11. Not sure I agree signatures after the fact are meaningless scribbles . One day these guys won’t be around to sign anything, are they not worth something then more than the fact it was signed at a con after they became famous ? I think collectors that want special items may hold early sigs in high regard but that is a very niche group that can pay that premium . I’d be happy with a copy any copy for a reasonable price . It’s like comparing a published piece of art to a commission by the same artist . Most value the published works and they are way more expensive but I’m the type that’s happy with any original on my wall . Again when the day comes they are not around anymore published or not it’s special . My two cents
  12. Oh well that’s just stupid on their part then …. Wow
  13. Maybe they just want that version . It’s a perfect copy some completionists pay money for obscure issues . A thought anyways
  14. One more I’ll add that was complete unknown to me until it was found . A signed copy by Michael Turner of Submariner 6. It’s only 1 of 15 copies he ever signed through Dynamic Forces . I don’t think I’d ever find another one of these
  15. I bought this in back issue bin the year it came out for cover price . Seriously htf and in this grade almost invisible
  16. I personally don’t think it’s a great time to wait on this book . I agree it’s a scorching hot market for it but can’t see prices dipping too far backwards . Two years ago I had 2.0 blue label and sold it for 14K. I’m now entertaining a 1.5 blue which I posted above for 22K. I’m almost priced out tbh
  17. A super tough book and no I did not buy this in 9.8. I purchased this in Mid teens of 2010 era and found it in back issue bin for $5.00. Sent to grading and boom! A super tough book in this grade and one I think will get some major attention moving forward as it’s first appearance of Agent Venom Flash Thompson.
