  1. I know this is hard to tell, but theres a couple spots on this cover that are a bit odd. Its like theres a tear thats stuck down...you can see it easily on raking light, but theres not any hint of glue or anything else that tips it off other than the break in the gloss. Anyone have any ideas? Heres one- below the top part of the T to the right Heres the other, above the M in Human
  2. Has anyone run across a fingerprint on a cover...and if so, what kind of point deduction is something like that?
  3. Can I put in a request for a Dr Strange label? ST110 is tragically missing him on the cover....that would help.
  4. Needs a good clean and press...Thanks!
  5. Sadly this is the only pic I got right now - so I'm just wondering- based on the cover, what kind of deductions is it starting with (it can only go down from there based on the back cover, etc)?
  6. That’s a reflection...it seems super clean other than the black streak
  7. This is the only picture I have - just wondering how the black streak would effect the grade - basically, since its a pretty bad printer error, where are we starting at?
  8. Final answer: 4.5 Oddly no one got it
  9. Thanks - the tatooz is there...I picked this up in a box of 80s ASMs this summer for $50, so I'm happy with that.
  10. This book has been blowing up recently, so I thought I'd send this in...What do you think?
  11. Lets say I have a book with a FMV of $700. I'll submitted to the Express Tier. My question is whats the downside of declaring the FMV of $999? Its the same cost for grading - wondering if it effects the shipping cost back - or anything else? Thanks
  12. Heres a shot before and after a good pressing (by Susan Cicconi)
  13. Heres good before shot with raking light...
  14. Heres it is pressed a nd cleaned...now off to cgc!
  15. I recently picked up a really nice copy of The Tick 1. It looks like its never been opened, but has tiny tears on the top and bottom of the spine. I'm wondering if these could be considered bindery tears and still have a shot at a 9.8...?
  16. I was getting my hopes up when you didnt claim you weren't a professional grader :-) I'll post the results when I get them...
