  1. Agreed - It might have to end up there just because of the lack of any kind of standard. He actually has another 9.6 coming up at HA in Sept, and another high grade (currently raw) behind it so we have to get in line behind those ..in the meantime we'll see what kind of offers pop up.
  2. With prices all over the place, what would you ask for this? Last sale was 66k, the one before was 88k...both signed. The owner would love to do a private sale, but it might end up at Heritage.
  3. Thats exactly my plan. :-) Brian Minor printed my pages on newsprint, and it looks pretty authentic.
  4. I told them if it wasnt verfied not to grade it - I'd rather have it CGC'd...it was a kirby.
  5. That was verified...not that it means it wasn't signed by Roz tho.
  6. Technically they say its "rejected". I know...sadly.
  7. hard to say - I dont think they were signed at the same time, and the guy I bought them from didnt get them signed himself...
  8. I just got this book rejected by cbcs - Everyone I showed it to seem to think its the real deal. Oddly, I submitted a second book signed by Kirby (that I picked up from the same guy) and it passed with flying colors. ugh.

  12. Wonder how many of the other 3 MS5 9.8s are WP...I know at least one isn't. Any way of finding out?
  13. I just came across a bunch of these when I took a poster our of its frame - not sure if its PL signature or not. They look like cover wraps to me - the back has the interior print on it. They're triple signed too ... Would love to know more about them...and how much they might go for nowadays
  14. I’m with you guys - but CGC isn’t seeing it that way.
  15. "...Rosa also assembled complete runs of every comic book published between 1966 and the late '80s, purchasing his books from local newsstands in Louisville, Kentucky. He decided to part with the 1970-present portion of his collection in 1995, sold through Steve Wyatt at San Diego Comic-Con that year. Rosa's remaining collection also contains a large, high grade accumulation of comics from the '50s, purchased complete by Rosa, which possibly represents a "pedigree within a pedigree." His collection has no identifying markings."
  16. No- thats a separate collection - only the ones with the sticker are Oregon Coast. There'll be a couple thousand or more coming to auction over the next year or two. This is the first batch. Truly remarkable books.
  17. This collection is almost entirely Bronze, so I think that the difference...
  18. Thats right - BA collections can't be an official pedigree, they're too new ...but otherwise this deserves one - single owner, crazy high grades, never opened. I was lucky enough to see some of these books raw.
  19. Had to share these.. My first pick is the FF48, followed closely by the MS5
