  1. I kinda saw the same thing...keeping my fingers crossed!
  2. 3 copies + 1 GRR I've owned...still have one of them, + the GRR, luckily.
  3. I've seen this with a centerfold and text on it - I assume this was from some sort of a Con that Kevin (and others - but not Peter?) attended and was sold flat - and possibly trimmed so there was no text
  4. About a year ago I picked this signed poster up at an estate sale, and when I opened up the back of the frame, and a bunch of signed flats fell out...I believe the poster was a promotion for TMNT 8
  5. Very cool to hear theres 300, not 500 copies of the variant...I'll have to get these graded soon.
  6. It'll be about 3k + to take that chance...I'm not sure its worth it unless its super obvious. This might be a case where CCS prescreening would be a good option. If they think it'l bump, then I'd take the chance - if not, they'll just return it. Its worked for me 3 times now.
  7. it is...I just posted for him to compare to another 5.0
  8. Yup - Just did a partial cash/trade deal on FB. Went to a new home.
  9. Heres mine - a total unicorn...low grade but displays great!
  10. I'm totally new to this age, but couldn't resist this group when it popped up locally.
  11. Mainly BA collections don't qualify for pedigrees...even tho the high end part of the collection started in 1968, it just didnt have those high grade early Silver keys to push it over the top. But we tried.
  12. I'm just a huge Wrightson fan. He inspired me to go into the field of art when Swamp Thing came out when I was in 7th grade...HoS has always been that elusive holy grail for me so to have this copy in my collection is priceless. I really don't feel the same way about MS5.
  13. Sadly these didn't belong to me - but I helped sell them. All have been sold (I think early on the 9.2 was offered on the CGC board - but the rest were sold by Heritage. The collection has remarkable books in it - still sold every week on Heritage (search Oregon Coast Collection). Heres one I picked up:
  14. They were graded...9.2/9.4/ 2 9.6 / 9.8 (its the one that sold for 265k).
