  1. Same to you Dan! Good luck! One shall stand. One shall fall.
  2. It makes sense to me. I mean technically the inner cover would kinda be like an interior page. Structurally you cant discount the how the exterior cover presents. I suppose someone could have the outer cover removed as part of a restoration?? But it would have to be professionally done. I like the way its noted and graded separately.
  3. The dread, the horror! I got the Sumo makes bricks emoji! LoL!!! I'm goin' down for sure... Oh God, what have I done???
  4. X-ray vision and my palm reader told me the inner cover was a 9.8
  5. On the current round are we allowed to change our grades if we haven't been PMed yet? No chance right???
  6. Why is the RTRNR grade blocked out from the scan? That's curious.
  7. I was so confident the moment I submitted my grades last night. But just minutes later ...the inevitable creep of doubt began, as seen in the "grades in" post above. It has now grown into a full blown panic of second guessing and self loathing, as I wish I could go back and change my grades. Alas my fate is sealed, the die has been cast, nothing but high anxiety and shear dread lay before me in the coming hours. Makes for great fun, kinda like a comic book roller coaster ride!!! But hey, amazingly, i'm still in this thing! (for now anyway)
  8. Hey, no fair! You're not allowed to use your x-ray vision!
  9. This is so interesting to me because of the back cover. I used to always grade the b/c same as the front. Tanning/ soiling, pieces missing I would grade down accordingly depending on how severe. But it seems there are no rules for this. In fact I have seen older books like this where CGC seemed to almost ignore the condition of the b/c. I would grade it 4.5-5.0 but I would guess CGC would grade it 6.0 maybe even higher due to that beautiful front cover. I have several books like this in my collection and I'd love to continue this conversation.
  10. Grades in This could go really good or really bad ! Not much room for in between with the grades I submitted. Good luck Dan! I hope you had an easier time than I did with these books!
  11. Thanks! Im kinda just winging it. I totally bombed the first round. I was forced to recalibrate quickly! Learning a lot along the way... I really did not think I had a chance against you!
  12. At least there's no more reindeer games comics on the next round.
  13. Good show khoo! You made me sweat all three days! Can't believe I got 2 bullseyes! I got very lucky!!!
  14. I think he's secretly bidding against me. But I know he's a lousy grader.
  15. Goin' crazy here. My shrink won't return my calls and the leprechauns are nowhere to be found. I'm cukoo for comic books! But hey as of right now I'm actually still in this thing.
  16. I cant upload scans for some reason..I will post a photo of my 115 later. I just got it this month. It's a... shall we say well loved copy.
  17. I cant look anymore! Second guessing is driving me crazy!!! 2 more hours of drinking left and just enough time to call my shrink.
