Your the odds on favorite! Whats with Krazy Kat was it a 3 or 3.5? I see it now CGC 3.5,contest grade 3.0 due to the double cover.

I cant get enough of this enough of this grading stuff! Playing from home I scored a 57 with one bullseye. Respectable, but i'm clearly not in Point Five and Black_Adam's league! Oh and then there's the fact that I bombed the previous 2 rounds so... But hey this is fun , no pressure 'cause I'm already out. You guys are doing awesome. Best of luck to those in that 4 way tie! Thanks for the reminder. Coming from that era I remember trying to argue with dealers. Some, a few were fair with grading. Others well would take advantage. They had the final say. I remember having to sell a book once where the dealer cut my book down to 'good' offered me less than 1/2 of that price, 2 weeks later displayed as VF. A real racket back then

Any Flash collectors out there know anything about inserts like mip-it's? I've ordered 2 types. One says it absorbs pollutants. The other says it deacidifies. Has anyone tried these? Mip-its claim they are used by CGC.

No scores in the 90's either proving just how tough this round was. Ps I put Supes at 9.0 too. Except for that bindery tear bottom left I thought it looked like 9 to me.

It was really challenging! Which is what I wanted and needed. I really enjoyed seeing the doube covers peraonally they are rare and I needed to know how to grade them. I like how you picked books from a wide range of grades. I learned a lot and I needed to calibrate. Thanks so much!!! I hope to do better next year. In the mean time I am continuing to grade all the books in the final rounds.

I could not believe it either. I went back and looked at the books side by side. Supes was by far the better looking book. Maybe the insides made the difference?

I'm afraid you'll have take them out Dan. You could try the digital scale thing? But i'd be willing to bet there will be some inconsistencies, different bags and boards. Different size books too 32 pg, 60pg.
