Just put up a couple of TMNT SDCC Ashcans for sale graded CGC SS 9.8 signed by Eastman in the copper/modern forum. I know some of you were looking for Turtles stuff that is from the new series!

Walked into my LCS and the comic manager was there. We talked about any Dave Stevens books he might have in the back. So we look through all the boxes out front (which I already did, but why not..) and he goes in back and pulls a bag that has 4 copies of unshelved Crossfires in them. 9.8 easy, was thrilled!!! Hoping he finds more as I have a nice little submission to send in this week but wouldn't mind adding a few more!

Just picked up 8 9.8 contenders of random DS covers... Very happy!

I lost out, thought my bid was enough...sad now...

If grade doesn't matter, you can pick up quite a few of those even cheaper. #5 tends to stay high and 19 also regardless of grade. Seems like a 9.8 condition 19 goes for the same as a 9.4 condition (both raw) at shows.

That particular book signed by the 5 living cast members? Not sure, I have one signed by all 5 but a different book...

They are both awesome.

Found a cool TMNT related comic this week at WWChicago... Independent Comic Book Sampler #1 I am sure you diehards already have it, but was a cool find with Flaming Carrot and TMNT pin-ups in the book!

I was happy to find out that IDW brought the remaining 10 copies of The Rocketeer Oversized Artist Edition to SDCC. Still retail price! I quickly purchased that and the variant sketch hardcover. Money well spent.

Frank Darabont reveals to FEARnet that Michonne will definitely join the show in Season 3. What of Stephen King writing an episode? "It'll happen eventually, I'm sure," he adds. JJ Thoughts... Season ends with Michonne walking head down with hooded cape (to not reveal face) and the 2 in chains behind her... Just how I would do it...but thats just me...

Any chance a scan? Would like to see what the cover looks like and if it has a logo etc. The pic on the website is just the image...any help appreciated! JJ

2.99 closed auction with multiple copies before it hit the stands....

My LCS was so sure I would buy the variant that they marked it $9.99 each. I laughed and told them, isn't this like an every 3 issue variant? I told them I can buy them for cover on ebay. I then proceeded to buy a few copies of the black cover that will be dead on 9.8s

Just got a National Diamond insert Conan #24 graded!

No one is going to quit reading the series because of variants... fun to say, but never happens. Just buy the regular issue and leave the variants to those that want to spend the money. For every 1 person that leaves the series, 2 more will probably take their place. Hard to stop a freight train by laying on the tracks...

Found the Alien Worlds Press Proof available at the show I was at this weekend. They made a mock issue of each issue then printed it after it was proofed by the editors. Cover was all shades of blue, pretty cool! 1 of 1!

They do make Acquire (I have played the old 3M game you have) now! I bought it at a specialty game kiosk in the mall around Christmas a few years ago. Love that game!
