  1. Jerel, have you thought about making a Locke and Key complete website? Seriously... you should... Would be awesome
  2. Why's that? Long story short. His books were not supposed to be sold publically (or so it is stated) and he will not sign CGC SS books anymore. Sad deal, especially as he was paid per book and rather well.
  3. In a trading mood... X-Men #214 Signed by Barry Windsor Smith (never see another signing) & Chris Claremont CGC SS 9.8 Looking for sketch covers? Amaze me in a PM...
  4. In all seriousness Whisp, we have had out moments, but dont give up on your favorite. Just look at all those variants as something to pick up a year down the road for super cheap. Trust me, it will happen.
  5. What I would do if I were a die hard MK fan... Disappear for awhile, return, then disappear, return again, start over, disappear, then start up again. Continue the cycle like the MK series! Just an idea...
  6. Came across a Rocketeer Postcard set the other day at a show, probably need to list it.
  7. they are pimping him pretty good I wonder if the con will have any twd exclusives I don't think there will be any con exclusives, just my guess, I know Tony won't have any and Image is not there...so...
  8. On this we can agree, although they haven't mentioned anything about it to me personally.
  9. Someday we will meet TJ, then you can size me up in person... I got the sneaking suspicion you would enjoy it much more than I. I would just want to braid your beard and put ribbons in it...
  10. Someday we will meet TJ, then you can size me up in person...
  11. So, this one is a sixth (printing?). I'd be interested in the origin if anyone out there knows. I didn't bid on the one above, but I'd like to know where it came from. Possibly inserted into non-New York Post papers? Is this the Double Feature (608 and 609)? The Special Edition that people are asking about was inserted with the toys a couple of years ago. Look up Killer Croc Figure on ebay and you might see one...
  12. So, from now on, if a book is to be signed by Tony for SS, you're the only one that can do it? I think it is probably explained better in the SS room. I also want to make sure that everyone fully understands that I also pay $5 per book for signatures like everyone else. I don't ask for it to be different and offer it up without being asked. This was not something that I came up with, but something that Kara told CGC this is how she wanted it done. It was originally to be me who handled all books to insure they were paid for the signature, but in fairness, I can't be everywhere and I don't want someone to NOT get a signature based on my convention appearances. Again, this is not something I advised on or asked them to do (my involvement or the charge per signature), but can see why it would make it easier for them. Tony is one of the most asked for signatures at shows CGC is at (thanks to Jeff! ), so this helps to get 'witnesses' out to other creators instead of spending 1/3 of the day in line with 10 books at a time trying to get them done. And as Chris stated earlier, there are plenty more creators asking for something in return and CGC has often offered (myself being one of those people who has offered comps time and time again, Kirkman is probably sick of me asking). Whether any of us like it or not, this is the way it will be and books will not be CGC SS with Tony Moore on it, unless it goes through this process. And lastly, I personally do not receive any compensation for this in any way shape or form.
  13. PS Kara has notified CGC that if any books are to be signed by Tony, she would like me to handle it and they are $5 a book. I have talked to Joe Pierson and he has been made aware of it. So please make sure to include that money if you send books to a facilitator or drop books off at a show. JJ

  17. I was joking on the Print Run...sorry bad joke... I would estimate 1000 IMO, they typically do not run less it seems for Image comics (got make it worth it to turn the presses on and such...)
  18. This qualifies as a probationary act, no matter how many friends you have on the boards. "I got a bridge for sale . . . " 1 month late to the party...
  19. What are you looking for? Stan Lee books Sketch Covers people can PM with what they might have to trade...
