    Guy may look a bit rougher, meaner, because it's not a romance type of book. Softer, gentler, more handsome gents on the romance covers?

    Still learning. Still searching. Still finding, albeit a bit slowly. The threads I follow, I've gravitated to a few and check on, like, and maybe make a comment here or there. I enjoy posting a find, but my knowledge base is just beginning.

    I may have fought too hard for this one. A well loved copy, miscut, sig from Joan.. maybe original owner, tape, rip. But it's complete. These lower grades seem to pull me in. Happy to have it. Another 18 or so, and I'll have the run.

    Should we see a bit more gloss for a upper mid-grade book of this era? I don't see a lot of color breaks, but a couple of corners are certainly holding it back. Can we get a glimpse of the staples from the centerfold angle please...how clean are they? Is that staining on bc, upper left corner area? For now...

    I've had one of the tougher Bakers, GCE #12, but passed it along to our friend. It was fun chasing it down and owning it. Still, a few of M Bakers books remain with me, keeping the fires burning with hopes of spotting others and Chasing those beautiful ladies that adorn his covers.

    The book that is tough and rare, for one collector, seems to fall into the hands of another. I've found books in the wild, that others have searched and searched for. I'm sure it is much the same for many of us. Beginners luck for me, maybe.
