    an artist I know of sells you the inked commission and then offers you first crack at the pencils. If you say no, he sells it. I have big issues with that. Overall I'm more than likely done with commissions.

    There are quite a few reputable pressers, do your homework.

    so why do people use them? Convenience of being next door? If a book is close, they aren't going to turn down money. The key is to educate yourself on what can and can't be pressed.
