Crack her out and let's take a peek at the innards

My raw copy is sitting on my to-read shelf. I'll post some pictures of the innards in the next few days. There's lots and lots of GGA goodness in this issue.

  2. I bet most, if not all, of us on the GA board read Burroughs as a kid. I, too, loved those paperback reprints with the Frazetta covers.

I reread "A Princess of Mars" about six or seven years ago. It doesn't have the same appeal it had when I was a kid, but I still enjoyed it. It's non-stop slam-bang action.

  3. P.S. for the record in the next day of so I'll post a little chart with publishers with the most Gerber 7 and up books for those interested.

Briefly here are the top five:

    2) Dell- a total of 71 books Gerber 7 or higher (surprised!!)

Dell published A LOT of books. They probably got into that list from sheer quantity. I bet they top the list of Gerber 4s and 5s also.

  4. Marvel Mystery, easy choice for me!!!! :cloud9:

Marvel Mystery is so rare that another copy probably wouldn't become available.

The Four Color I could find in various grades if I wanted a copy. lol

Also the Marvel Mystery is the first Marvel Annual, and I love Marvel Annuals!!! :headbang:

What he said. Except for loving the Marvel Annuals thing.
