Grader's notes are optional and from my understanding the acetate pages have damage to relate to the grades the labels received. So while it is an "invisible book" there is indeed a "reason for the season". Bad Idea is all about gimmicks, they have proven and continue proving that. I think you are mistaking action taken and the reporting of said action taken. CGC really doesn't owe us any response to what they do or have done in regards to someone else's property.

Unfortunately that seems to be their modus operandi. I have seen a few more post about issues with "a pre-order online shop" not honoring their orders after months and months.and when I reached out (both times I did) it was Hot Shots. The responses people get though. Those are laughable.

While I was unable to get the reg #21 yesterday thanks to Diamond and there continual delays since the 1st of the year (this is roughly the 9th time already). I did however get back my ashcan!

I picked up a Long Halloween for myself at my local Walmart and another Long Halloween and Killing Time for a buddy that doesn't have access to them (but is a huge Batman fan), left the extra LH at the other Walmart for another collector to nab. I haven't been checking for RWBY, guess I should, but then I would have to try and sell and well, that just ain't me.

They are a Midwestern grocery store similar to Walmart/K-Mart, their HQ is in Michigan. They are all over Ohio I know for sure from going back to the main office, the few times I have.

I would call them after following up with another the email. I have found calling seems to get better results, at least for me. edit - just not accounting, always go to CS 1st and see if they will reach out for you.

I talked to CS back in January and they have different "departments" in receiving based on the service. This was explained to help separate for the in-house signings, so I am not sure how it affects other services. But I could see it affecting others with the load is heavy for that specific service at the time of receipt.

Would be quite easy to have instead of written notes. Considering it is a DB now the linking should not be THAT terrible to accommodate. The rough part would be converting the current data into the proper table and parsing it appropriately. But yes, a simple checklist of the potential defects, how many, where they are located. Heck they could even have a diagram of a book (front and back) where they could pop an X where defects exist. Imagine getting a visual grader note when a book came back with restoration that showed where it is on the cover! I volunteer sckao as tribute to overhaul the notes system.

Correct, they were done as a surprise 1 per store. I know Kyle was selling them as early as last Nov at cons he attended.

Kyle Strahm is the artist. And seems like a pretty awesome fellow. I missed the ashcan at the LCS. Heard about it after from the Twig FB group. Kyle did a Instagram giveaway (5 copies) and then surprised 3 of the FB people with ashcan copies also. They are going to do another giveaway of some sort at 500 members, if you are on FB look it up. My understanding is there were a bunch of the ashcans signed at a con and the car transporting them after got into an accident and they were destroyed/damaged. So a signed one went up and sold for $200+ which led to FOMO on the reg copies. (I have no hard evidence of this just water cooler rumor)

I had this problem until they ate a $600 mini-PC, twice, because it was left out in the weather instead of following the delivery instructions. Now they knock and ring the doorbell. As for the thievery, that is just plain sad. I hope they catch the bandits and do terrible things to them.

Anyone else looking forward to this when it comes out?
