  1. Nice one! It looked like an apple to me, no way I would have made out that cover. But then I am not really a Golden Age comics connoisseur.
  2. Well you did say visible and that is rather relative. The glare makes the other slabbed book pretty tough to make out, so I am just guessing it is an issue if Fun Comics? As for the collected volumes, even with zooming in I cannot make much of anything out. Maybe Captain America and Strange Tales. The middle though is completely illegible. If someone else can make them out, by all means answer away.
  3. The tier and the declared value essentially go hand in hand with anything modern. I would recommend selecting the tier you feel the book is worth and declare the value you will be insuring the book for, both going to, waiting at and coming back from CGC. So as your example, ASM 361, if you are comfortable with the Modern tier, max $200 declared value, then select that and create the submission form for all three. Now if you sent in an Amazing Fantasy 15 in the modern category somehow, then CGC would alter your submission to the proper tier and up charge you appropriately. Otherwise you would be charged for the Modern tier on each of the ASM 361 books you sent, no matter if they come back 9.2, 9.4, 9.8, or even 10.0. Declared value is important though, in the event something was to happen to the book while in the hands of CGC, that value you specified is what they would cover. So if you feel the ASM 361 is worth $1k, then I would recommend selecting a tier that allows for $1k in declared value.
  4. What I can make out Black Hammer #1 (Lemiere Variant) Black Hammer #1 (Convention Variant) Black Hammer #2 Slabbed Detective Comics #25? The other slab can only make out a UN in the name. Some little Spider-man reader books.
  5. I figure he is like one of those characters in the movies making a "list" and he is currently doing that of all those that are wronging him in this thread.....
  6. They absolutely can, they use Wonka-vision to transport it to your devices. Not to be confused with Wanda/Vision!
  7. Man that sounds like playing Russian Roulette with a 2 barrelled gun, fully loaded...... Sure glad it got there the 2nd time around though!
  8. This is the best answer right here. It is all a numbers game, always will be.
  9. You should absolutely be a proud husband and father for sure.
  10. Great 1st submission review and reaction, kudos! To answer your questions, none of the defects listed say they are color breaking but understand there could be other flaws not listed as well. While you could get bumps for sure in each case you might not get enough to move up with the G.I.Joe. The Star Wars and Secret Wars would absolutely benefit though. Are you looking to sell them or keep for PC? If the intent is to sell, you need to determine if the amount invested with resubbing will be worth it or not. If it is for PC and you are just hoping for a better grade then go for it!
  11. That is amazing. My almost 10yr old is a Bone fan, I just bought him Bone Adventures, he has already read the entire regular series (softback collection). This is fantastic!
  12. They only corrected back billing someone from November of last year. I have not heard about them correcting anything else or addressing other people that were charged after the fact.
  13. Keep in mind, per CGC the prices of shipping is an estimate not set in stone. They will charge you for the shipping upfront then back bill you on another invoice any shipping overages later. You already know this, why did you omit it?
  14. Yeah if it fizzled I will only be out cover price on both JFK and LHO covers. I am ok with that. Not planning to buy anything other than the main cover, generally that is what I shoot for anyways. Variant craze is mostly lost on me.
  15. It is your fault you know! I got that red from one of the mystery boxes. 😁
  16. Cover A and the Secret Cover are my favorites. I do like that middle one there though, that one is spot on. I am not a Peach fan so I will gladly pass on anything she does. The 1st one imo is putting a lot of significance on the lady in red. Not sure I agree with that, yet.
  17. 1 Modern Fast Tracked w/ pressing - Shipped USPS - 8/12 Delivered to CGC - 8/24 Received by CCS - 8/24 Received by CGC - 9/18 SFG (and clickable) - 9/28 Grading/QC - 9/30 Shipped/Imaged - 10/1 TAT when it was received was 46 business days, actual TAT from date it was received in the system was 27 business days. With shipping, both to CGC and back, it will still only be 38 business days. Considering I was not expecting this back until the end of October and now it should be in hand next Tuesday. Another homer for the TAT!
  18. I was not expecting it to be much, but I picked it up solely on the JFK cover. Then the secret Lee Harvey cover... Yeah grabbed that too. It was a great read. The art is not your normal run of the mill comic art, which works really well for it.
