Does the type of stain matter? I feel like tiny water stains would go over better than a larger brown coloured stain but I really have no clue.

I mean the argument sure is there for HE. He also hasn’t been seen since that episode. But why is he there? Is he a third force trying to help Wanda while Mephisto/Agatha are there for their own reasons AND Hayward is involved for his own reasons? Seems like a lot but could be. Could also just have been a moment of lapse in this reality that’s been created and maybe Herb is a real person who had a moment where he could think for himself and tried to warn Vision but Agatha fixed him and put him back under a spell or whatever.

I dunno I just think High Evolutionary is a letdown. I have zero interest in him. That doesn’t mean I’m not horribly wrong and that is Marvels focus, I’m just saying I won’t be impressed. I’m more impressed if they try to mislead and then pull something great on us. But a reveal of HE would just make me go meh.

Confirmed where? I know he was cast but I never saw a definitive article saying “Kang is in Ant Man”. Rumours sure, but you know how many rumours and theories and what not are out there right now? I can name like 50-75 characters people seem to think are “on their way” and which seems impossible. Over the next 15-20 years sure but anytime soon? Impossible I say!

I think Agatha is either a full on reference and not actually Agatha Harkness at all, but rather someone in disguise. And if she is Agatha, then Mephisto has some control over her and has her in there to help him but likely against her will or true desire. Either way I think we have to not just assume since Agatha in the comics is “good” that this Agatha also must be good. Also I will be stunned if High Evolutionary is a thing. I understand we have seen references but I’m gonna call that an Easter Egg for fans and nothing more. If it is consider me horribly wrong and surprised that he would be used in any real capacity.

My guess is he’s either tied up with the beginnings of whatever this is going to turn into or Hayward has intentionally kept this quote outside of those on site outside Westview and Dr Strange has no clue yet.

So I’m gonna revise a few of my past thoughts upon more reflection.... The “aerospace engineer” mentioned by Monica last episode I think will be Riri Williams. I don’t think it will be Reed Richards because I think the intro to the FF will be done in a war where they were part of those failed space missions that were mentioned by Director Hayward? I think these astronauts are found, and found with powers and there you have the FF. There have been some other interesting speculations as to who this mystery engineer is but for me, and the fact I think they are setting up a newer younger gen of heroes coming, I feel Riri makes some sens here. Also that director is bad. I think that within SWORD he was doing unsanctioned experiments and one of those was to rebuild Vision as a weapon. Wanda found out and stole his body but did not know what to do so...... ....she turned to (or got an offer from) Mephisto! His offer was to help her create a reality where she could live to her liking with Vision but the trade off was she would have to have kids and eventually give them to Mephisto. Maybe Wanda did not like this so Mephisto did it any way and has some kind of light control over her while she control of some of it (sounds convoluted sure but it’s where I’m at hahah) The show will end with this all being revealed and Wanda losing her kids. I don’t foresee long term plans for Wiccan and Speed I’m sorry. I think this is it for the kids and I think their death pushes Wanda over the edge to a point where she alters reality and merges other Marvel properties with the current realm. That or she alters reality, as she will realize the extent of her powers and change reality in some way where we live in a world with mutants, the FF, etc. This sets up the Dr Strange Multiverse of madness movie where he has to “fix” what Wanda has done and along the way battle Kang because as a time traveller (or as I believe the MCU will adapt him, a reality traveller) he will be causing headaches in some way. Boom!

I think Marvel might use select actors from films outside the MCU but I doubt they keep everyone. That or there is some giant multiverse movie concept that will have them all but eventually that reality will be reset and we will be able to have new actors in the roles of the various mutants. I also wonder what that missile was that Hayward launched? Did she just stop it and bring the drone out? Or did something happen inside as a result that we didn’t get to see?

Like maybe she causes all this mayhem...a merging of Fox and Sony characters and Dr Strange has to help fix it all. And maybe once it is fixed, certain things within our world are forever altered like the introduction of mutants. At any rate this was a very interesting episode. We are on a steady climb now! Agnes is up to something. Why couldn’t she touch the kids? Are they real? I tried to pause on a couple scenes to analyze some images but nothing stood out for me in backgrounds or anything. Mind you it’s late and I usually suck at spotting stuff the first time around:)

Is Wanda going to be responsible for this new multiverse we see? She’s already pulled Pietro in from the Sony X-Men world...maybe she pulls in more and more and eventually we just have all the Marvel properties in the same world (the ones Disney cares about anyways and perhaps some others for the purpose of creating a wild story...).

Right you could be! I personally don't see the horns you speak of...the goatee, kind of, I assumed it was shadowing....this is what I mean, the show works very well to fuel crazy ideas but in reality, it could all just point to the big thing which is Mephisto.

But is it a clue or just fun? You know they know we will find stuff and you know they can't have it all happen. Here is a short list... -Quicksilver comes back -Mephisto shows up -Dr. Strange shows up -High Evolutionary show up - Agatha Harkness shows up -Arcanna shows up - Professor X shows up -Magneto shows up -AIM shows up All of these things have been mentioned, surmised, guessed. At the end of the day, you know the creators put a bald mans picture in the background on purpose to get us talking. Same with this weird face. Same with numbers within the episode. It's a combination of hints and pure easter eggs and that is what makes the speculating so much fun. They want us to guess and hope and be guessing til the end. At the end of the day though, all of the above things (and the others out there) cannot all happen.

Agreed. I think that is a fan easter egg/red herring type deal. Definitely done to reference the HE but I will be stunned if Marvel has plans to bring that character into existence beyond just a cheerful shout out in this series.

That is a poorly drawn Mephisto lol.... ....although it is over Vision's left shoulder, which is where cartoon devils typically speak from... ...but why Vision's shoulder and not Wanda's? ..... ...unless Vision somehow struck a deal with the devil to remain somewhat alive...!?!?!?!?

Upon reflecting on some of my own earlier conspiracy theories, I think you are right. I mean, if mutants exist and if that blurry bald headed photo in the background on the wall at SWORD was professor Xavier, it means they have been hiding. Which, okay, maybe they just says "hey mutants have always existed, the world just didnt know about em", which is fine but it does seem like a huge thing to throw our way all of a sudden. If anything, that photo is likely a sneaky little tidbit to get people talking more than it will actually link to future events.

No disrespect to Kal-El, but I don't see the hype for him like you do Miles Morales for Marvel. The reason a character like Mile Morales is so hot right not is because, since he was introduced, they have continued to write stories about him. He was a big deal when he debuted and he has maintained fans ever since. Now, with movie/TV speculation, even more people are getting on board that may have missed his first appearance. With regards to Calvin Ellis, that character was introduced briefly and, to my knowledge, has not be used at all really since. Sure, they are planning to bring him back but I would be hesitant to assume that book is the next book that could hit even $100. It is going to take a really great story, some continued success of the character and then some potential move hype to get it there....and I don't know if that is in the cards for Kal-El. Maybe...you could be laughing in 5-7 years time at this post. But if you enjoy the character regardless of whether it "pops off", then definitely get any and all considered first appearances.

I am not familiar with the issue but is this character throughout the entire story in Final Crisis 7? Does he actually become Superman in Action Comics 9? If he appears in a panel or two, it would explain Crisis 7 being a cameo and Action Comics 9 his first full. Otherwise, yes, someone has just decided that it is what it is. Things can change however if the masses get on board but the masses never really got on board with Gambit's first appearance so.....
