  1. ^True, you want to check all the pages, make sure they are there, no cutouts and also back photos help too, especially if you want some more in depth feedback on some grades. You can post in the Hey Buddy Can Ya Spare A Grade Forum too https://www.cgccomics.com/boards/forum/42-hey-buddy-can-you-spare-a-grade/
  2. Next Men #21? Or do you wanna get into all of the random not-really-comic-book appearances and ad previews for Hellboy stuff?
  3. For Jim Lee, I will second the issue of Batman 608 that was retailer incentive. Super rare and always sells for close to a grand. For Bill S, his Moon Knight 1 1:75 variant from 2014 seems to consistently bring big money. Yes, the occassional super high grade copy of Moon Knight 29 gets closer to $150-200 but I feel the variant is always more when it sells.
  4. I mean, do you enjoy reading them? If so, no need to get them CGC graded. You can store in proper bag and board (or two) in proper cool, dry and dark location and this will keep them just as well as a CGC case. The CGC case is not airtight or waterproof. It also does not protect from sunlight. All it would help against is handling which, unless you are touching the same book every day, you are unlikely to damage it further (unless you try to read it with greasy fingers after eating chicken wings). If you are grading because you like the way cases display, and you can grab em from a box quick, show a friend and stuff em back in, go for it. If you also want to get a more guaranteed value for them, have them graded. Everything you have listed would likely benefit from grading versus selling raw, especially the FF 48-50 and 52. The earlier issues even though rough, would still likely be worth spending the money to grade. The only one I personally would not grade is the Spanish issue. Its more a personal thing as I am not a huge fan of foreign copies or reprints. They are neat but can be a tough sell with the exception of a few titles and a few issues. This isn't one I would say has huge following of people looking for it.
  5. I would say shows some pics but generally these flaws you are mentioning can be very hard to see once slabbed and trying to take photos. My suggestion would be to post pics in the grading forum before you send them in, then you can get a general collector consensus of the grade. We are not perfect but generally the masses can hone in on a correct grade within a .5 range.
  6. So I already posted my Omega The Unknown 1 with stamp. Turns out I have the first five issues all stamped! Maybe I need a date stamp run of Omega in my life (I have the remaining issues, no stamps tho) Issue 2 February 10 1976 Issue 3 April 6 1976 Issue 4 June 15 assuming 1976 although is pretty blurred Issue 5 Aug 26 1976
  7. 6.0-6.5 Anything less is criminal, anything more is a welcomed gift for a sweet cover that presents fantastically!
  8. Small corner crease bottom right from what I see. Else it looks strong. Sadly though, that crease puts it down around 8.5 for me. Outshot shot at 9.0 but I safely saying 8.5
  9. 7.5...outside shot at 8.0 and too n ice for an outright 7
  10. Wecome! Look forward to seeing more from ya! Spine ticks and corner and edge wear. Fairly noticeable too. Because it is a "newer" book, I think it gets hit a little harder. I am feeling 6.5-7.0. I think there is too much minor wear for it to hit 7.5 but I am far from a perfect judge
  11. I am also at 3.0-3.5 I know some people think writing on comics sucks (and trust me, when it is on the cover and is someone doing their own colouring or scribbles, I hate it too) but I must say, a name or something random written in margins or on the back cover does not really bother me. Two Batmaniacs Talk...granted, there is an unnecessary apostrophe (or so it appears) after the "c" but this statement intrigues me....what does it mean? Sounds like an interesting name for a podcast or radio show or something...
  12. I am also around 8.5. The pics are not the best, there could be more spine ticks than I can see, which might bump it to an 8.5. It could also have 9.0 potential. So, 8.0-9.0 for me...I know that is a wider range than I usually like to post but if there were a few more close ups, I could narrow it down a bit by my CGC standards anyway
  13. In Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, there is a place that sells comics and tobacco/marijuana/gag gifts I went once years ago. Still there to my knowledge...books were all drek, priced all over the map. It was like they lit up before pricing and just went nuts. Dollar bin stuff was $10-20, books worth a bit were priced three times as much. Everything in there was not bagged and stacked leaning next to one another....and reked of all kinds of smoke. Next to the comic bins I recall various sex toys and bongs on a shelf. Trust me, I went desperate for comics. But it was so bad I have not gone back and its only 20 minutes away from me.
  14. Yeah 2.5 seems on the money, outside shot at 3.0 but I think there are just too many little things happening to get it there.
  15. I am closer to the 8.0-8.5. Little top edge wear and bottom of spine wear but it looks solid for a square spiner.
  16. I will venture 7.0 ish also...mayyybbeeeee 7.5 but beyond that I think you'd be lion (rawr)
  17. 3.0-3.5 from me as well. Rough but not so rough it is undesired. Me like!
  18. I mean, they found a stain...I dunno, looks like a damn fine 6.0. To be honest, the spine appears worse in the updated photo than the originals. Going off the updated graded pic, I would personally call it 6.5-7.0
  19. I am tempted to grade it...what with predictions being everywhere from 2.5-4.0.
