  1. I was also thinking 5.5-6.0 Spine wear, bottom staple especially, top edge has some wear, few spots on the leading edge with chipping. The back cover you have browning all over, not as off white or white as it could be. It's a solid mid grade book, one I would be proud to have
  2. Happy Easter! We “visited” some family from the driveway/sidewalk with a homemade sign our little guy helped make. Anything to make nanas and great nanas and aunts and uncles smile during this bizarre time.
  3. A press might get this to 7.0 one day but 6.0-6.5 as is.
  4. I would say the cover is brittle along edges only. Here is an interior pic
  5. Comic market has not crashed at all. Books are still selling at or around value. There have been just as many books sell for $100 more than they have averaged as there are books they sell for $100 less. Would not say it is a buyers market. Although you may find less competition. What I mean is as a Canadian buyer I’m putting my buying on hold because the exchange rate and shipping are the worst they’ve ever been right now.
  6. No would say cream to tan. It’s really just that corner that seems real crispy. I can turn the pages easy and like flick my fingers along the edges and I’m not worried about pieces tearing or ripping off.
  7. According to someone with two other copies the upside panel appears in theirs as well so must be a mass production error.
  8. The top left corner and the piece missing are the biggest flaws...thanks for all opinions! Also, the one photo shows a page with an upside down panel. Is this an error on most copies or do I have something uniquely wrong
  9. Interesting... Are you suggesting my copy is from this collection? Or just thought I’d find interesting. Either way I enjoyed scrolling through!
  10. Probably my favourite date stamp and definitely my oldest. Sept 14, 1951!
  11. I am around a modest 3500 or so books...I am in the midst of using some of this coronacation to catalogue, grade and read many which I just have not gotten to. I would say there are about 500 books I have not read and all of them are getting updated bags and boards if needed, as well as some personal grader notes on condition and what I paid/value them at. Just because

  13. 6.0-6.5 A press might...might bump it but those corner creases top right on the front aren't going anywhere, nor is the edge wear and that to me thinks 6.5 is the best hope. This issue makes me smile because it was one I traded to a friend which helped him complete his Cap run from #100-current. He was very happy.
  14. I am around 8.0, outside shot at 8.5. Spine ticks and some dirt on the back. If this can be cleaned at all, the better. Nice copy though!
  15. ^ This is true. There exist 9.4-9.8 books with corners like this. Whether that is correct or not is of personal opinion. Not on a 9.8 for me but if its literally the only real flaw, I could see 9.4-9.6 I really wanna see what this comes back at!
  16. I think you guys are generous but what do I know...2.0-2.5 from me. Lotsa scribbling which I personally hate but maybe CGC is nicer than I am.
  17. I’ll be honest I totally missed your reply. Thank you as well for alerting him much appreciated!
  18. Lotsa spine ticks and wear to top edge of cover. I am more 6.0-6.5
