Sadly, I've yet to see a time where that was worthwhile since that extra validation is costly. I do own a few of those, but that's because I placed a low bid on auctions and won. So I don't mind owning those types of books at all but whoever was at the other end of that transaction lost money.

Over the last 2 years I've watched a handful of auctions for Jack Kirby verified books (cause I have one) that have reached several hundred to over a thousand dollars.  I think there's certainly a market - especially for bigger name artists who weren't around when the SS series came to be.    That's about the only real benefit of the service I see

I had no idea Neal Adams was a hollow earther. Does he still hold this belief?

I never found any later interviews concerning  that  so can't say for sure.  Though if you read them, he's very opinionated and he wasn't always  nice during those online discussions  so I don't think he's the type of guy to change his mind over criticism.  Any stuff I found later concerned electric cars, for which he was a strong proponent  of.

  3. I use poly bags rather than Gemini mailers.   I take bag and boarded comics, wrap them in a plastic sheet and tape them between strong cardboard pieces.  If there's  enough space between  the pieces I fill them with rolled up packing paper, otherwise I'll put bubble wrap around it all.  I've  never had a problem.  So I'd think you could forgo  the cardboard sheets when using mailers or keep that and pack the space between them rather than bubble wrap the outside which eats up space.

  4. go to ebay and search for sold listings of the same comics.  You'll see the last 3 months or so of data. Only issue would be if it indicates 'best offer accepted' in which case  you won't see the actual accepted price. You would want to look for sales of signed comics to get a better idea of current value

So I just got a Spider-Man #1 torment signed by Todd. It doesn’t have a COA, but it has a red spider stamp on the back. Will CGC accept that for it’s signature series or did I waste my money?

Did you want to own a McFarlane signed comic? If so then you didn't waste your money

Did you want to be able to sell a McFarlane signed comic?

Well you can   A) sell it raw  or B) use another company which has a sig verification program.   Whether either option will get you more money than whatever you paid is a different question.

I haven't seen it yet, but the first one was pretty good. Not great, by any means, but pretty good. Especially for a horror movie.

That said, doesn't it seem odd to anyone else that an actress, who has 'made it', would make a horror flick? I guess there are examples of it happening - Sandra Bullock/Bird Box - but I always thought that 'bigtime' actors looked down on horror movies.

Her husband wrote & directed it so not surprising she would have a different attitude towards it even if she disliked the genre.

Two Hulk 181 CGCs 8.5 just closed for under $10k vs recent highs of +$12k.  One was Clink this week.    An 8.0 also just closed on eBay for $8.3k vs recent highs of +$10k.

Not saying this is a market correction yet - but feels like March April surge of books going up by 10-20% within a couple of weeks has subsided.    As someone selling books in this weeks Clink auction I do feel like prices are softer.

a 9.8 copy of FF 48 went for $94k in that same auction. It jumped $30k over the last minute

5 minutes into the 1st episode and it seems like Robot Chicken writers contributed to the --script - and that's a good thing

well I saw Seth Green's name in the credits so maybe that explains why it had similarities to Robot Chicken to me.  Anyway liked the 1st episode and it' good enough to keep watching

It wasn't bad it just wasn't great. I thought they missed a great section of the film by not exploring those "smart" zombies more.
That too me was the most interesting part of the film that didn't get enough time. I loved the idea of Zeus and would to have liked
to have seen more on him.

pretty much agree with all of that.

    Also

    Spoiler

I don't get the need for the double cross.    They don't care about the money, and - as the tiger proved - he could use them to help keep him safe and get his prize back safely rather than go it alone.   Plus the evidence that other teams failed which must mean their inside security guy was killed should be reason enough for him to keep at least some of the team with him
