  1. That's a nice copy. Yeah who the hell sends this in just an envelope?
  2. Oh, there is. You don't know about it??? Are you sure you are a member???
  3. Yeah, got to love that Medusa cover. Romita drew a nude (but censored) version of Medusa that was printed in one of those art books on him, or perhaps a magazine. Very nice. Perhaps if I get a free moment, I'll scan it over the weekend.
  4. Better cross posted than cross dressed. Awesome book!
  5. Well, you did what you could. Some people just don't want to believe. I tried to help a guy out this weekend on an auction too.
  6. Is that including the Dr. Strange #14 orange starburst variant? I believe this is the order of sets completed (excepting the above variant). FlyingDonut Silver&Bronze 4Gemworks Darthdeisel Shieldagent Metarog Canickus Bonas Do we know how long it took everybody? It took me a little over two years from the time I got my first (DD 134) until my last (KC 208). I'm always amazed that CosmicSpiderMan finished the 35 cent variants before the 30 cent variants? How may complete sets of 35 cent variants are there?
  7. Here's something I picked up a few months back. I've been looking for one with the sticker for a while and lucked out at a LCS in CT. This is the All Detergent giveaway issue of Amazing Spider-Man #184.
  8. no darn! because that is one sweet looking 7.5 Yeah, that is a really sweet #18. Nice colors.
  9. True. There's a reason they call it Marvel chipping. Cheap paper, cheap production values. If AF15 was so great why didn't anyone take care of their copy? You couldn't even give me a copy of that book. Well, at least nothing below a 9.0.
  10. The Spawn club is a little more austere than that rag-tag Amazing Fantasy Club. You won't find a .5 issue of Spawn #1. Collectors all know how valuable this book is and would preserve it like his/her life counted on it. Not so of AF #15. That shotty old book is rife with low grades. Just goes to show you that the Spawn collector know's where it's at and the AF #15 collector mostly has a worn and battered book. I know where my bread is buttered. GO Spawn!
  11. Quick, buy a copy and well pretend this was never posted. Move Along Folks! Nothing to see here. Just a Man looking for another issue of Spawn #1.
  12. Nice Double Cover. I don't own any. My buddy Cosmic Spider-Man has a ton. Yes, I think as collectors are becoming more specialized and looking for oddities, the prices on e-bay have been going up, but it seems like the LCS owners are not keeping up. I guess it's a good thing if you have a LCS.
  13. You my friend have all your brain cells working at optimum efficiency. AF15, wasn't even pulished in 3D. Sad, so sad. Any hero who can't even star in his own comic right off the bat is no super-hero of mine. Could you just imagine if Spawn had to start in some other book first? Disgusting. Make My Image
  14. Wow Terry. Didn't realize you had so many Double Covers.
  15. That's the way we roll over here in Spawn World!
  16. Are you kidding? To be a member you've actually got to own a copy of Spawn #1. Pretty exclusive indeed. Here, Here! They just let anyone into this little exclusive club.
  17. I've always loved this cover and everything else about this book. When I think of bronze age Spideys, this is where my mind always goes.
  18. Yeah, that's what I thought. I have a pretty nice copy, but kick myself for not buying the even better one at the time.
  19. Ok, what's the deal with the number of high grade copies of ASM 33? I'm assuming it was a warehouse find issue. Is this the case (no pun intended)?
  20. Wow, you got the elusive red cgc label. They don't make them like that any more.
