I dont trust anything they say...I think someone here said they had movement on books from early august
-
I have 9 books from september also..from what I hear, CGC is just working on August now
-
CGC hasn't updated but they are opening boxes from May 4th..mine just posted today for FTM

Go Collect is a tracking service that only tracks sales from auction houses. If a slabbed sale happens on Ebay, then GoCollect documents it on their site, same with GPA comics. They don't actually monitor fruadulant sales..can't imagine they would even know. But lots of fishy stuff happens on Ebay. This is the first time I have heard of a sale of an image stolen from a tracking company but doesn't surprise me. Those pics are different ..the case there looks a lot newer and has a shadow of the person taking the pic...so maybe it was stolen elsewhere..funny thing is..why try to sell a restored ASM 50 with stan lee signature when there are lots of non restored ones...me thinks this person on Ebay has no clue about comics

yep..I have economy tier from summer too...so annoying
-
TAT at that time was around 160 days for economy...which is around 7.5 months .....the current 203 days TAT posted is about 9.5 months ..CGC customer service having continuity issues
-
found it..so someone posted on current TAT's that their Claremont signing went to GEI on April 23rd (no CCS)...so its a little over two weeks since these books probably went to CCS..so my guess is that sometime in the next week or two they will go to SFG..I am waiting too..I have a Xmen 101 I am really itching to get back
-
With pressing the turnaround time is 8 weeks from signing..I am not exactly sure when he signed but it was probably around beginning of April, I think I saw that someone who didnt have CCS already in G/E/I a couple weeks ago. CGC usually cuts the date off for submissions two weeks before the actual signing...or so I have been told by Mike

Issues with a recent returns
Ed Hanes replied to The Bearded Eagle's topic in Newbie Comic Collecting Questions
Someone at CGC committed a crime..luckily, you have a fingerprint to prove who it was -
I wouldn't think too much about it...maybe he just hopped on FB to sell his books but had no real interest in being on FB or he just got tired of FB ...I know lots of people who have just upped and left FB (deleting all their friends) because of the constant ads and clickbait they roll out (including myself)..or he got hacked (very common) and after recovering his account decided to delete everything ior make a new account

Thanks, I am not sending to CGC or having it slabbed, keeping it raw..just curious what people thought of grade.
-
This could really use a press..I tried to show the cover's wrinkles. Signed by Gerry Conway last year
-
No matter the grade...get it slabbed, just to keep it from falling apart...my guess..2.0 to 2.5
-
Assuming you mean Ultimate Fallout 4, if you look at yearly sales (GPA comics) , you see they reached a peak last summer, contracted a bit in fall but have surged a little again above last year's peaks...it still seems to be a great book to invest in...the contrast between UF4 and ASM 361 is very large in market trends

CGC is celebrating 10 million graded ...as well as the 10 million still on hold for grading

This Week in Your Bronze Age Collection!!
Ed Hanes replied to TupennyConan's topic in Bronze Age Comic Books
ohhh...so that's the reason for the window bag, I thought they were for minimizing damage...darn. I didn't have a window bag. yeah, I figured it was some sort of hidden signature philosophy -
This Week in Your Bronze Age Collection!!
Ed Hanes replied to TupennyConan's topic in Bronze Age Comic Books
Yes but this one didn't have any obvious need except some spine ticks that needed to be flattened...but IMHO, MCS severely undergraded it ... I do a lot of business with MCS (selling and buying)...every now and then I get lucky. and THANKS!! -
This Week in Your Bronze Age Collection!!
Ed Hanes replied to TupennyConan's topic in Bronze Age Comic Books
Well, not impressed with the choice of color for the sig....but CGC graded this as a 9.2 (I bought as a 6.5 from MCS)..so happy about that -
Because my last box was opened on 4-12 but CGC still had the date of opening boxes as Mar 21, then right after my submission they changed (i did not mark my box FT, btw). I also think they don't exactly open unmarked boxes in exact order (like restaurants making orders)....this has happened several times for me...the announcement of the date they are opening the boxes just seems like a really rough guideline
-
the dates they have for opening boxes can lag behind two to three weeks..so they are probably opening boxes from 4-11 or 4-18 now...ie. they dont change it every week

Where are you meeting him? is is at a comic book con? sometimes there are CGC reps (unadvertised) at these cons and they will offer CGC signature service verifying the signature -
Our Recent Experience Selling Comics Through Mycomicshop
Ed Hanes replied to thehumantorch's topic in Comics General
I sell a lot through MCS and have a had some stuff sent back to me if the value was too low ....I think they are a lot stricter for grading on comics that have defects that can be easily pressed out..like light crumpling and non color breaking spine ticks ...I have recently noticed significant decrease in grades for this...so I just don't send them comics with crumpling anymore ...unless I have them pressed
