  1. I have a mid-grade Western from this collection, forget which one, that I bought from Superworld. Not a fancy ped, but it's pretty nice.
  2. Yup. That's why I suggested that Joey read through the thread. Hector (and Darkstar) nailed it.
  3. Here ya go: Linky. Be sure to read the followup comments for the post-CAK analysis.
  4. When did PGM comic turn into the Please Grade My Entire Collection Forum? Do the guidelines need to be amended so people aren't posting 3 books a day EVERY day for 2 months or more?
  5. Those looks like some nice Yellow Claws. Now that I've spoiled Frankie's day, I'll toss up a few more:
  6. I don’t often post books in threads like this, but as I’ve been re-reading my FF run and had some books out I figured I’d make a few scans. #79 and #78 have been in my collection since the late 70s/early 80s. #78 is an upgrade I picked up a few years ago. They’re not as minty as some folk's but they present nicely and suit me just fine.
  7. You should check out the Original Art forum Welcome back That's the reason I came back. No dickery over there.....
  8. These (and many more - a whole thread's worth!) were brought to you by the illustrious Flee-Marquette. We need a Board Archivist. I nominate Blowie.
  9. On the second Tuesday of each month, Harley is at the Waffle House next to the Motel 6 on Hwy 49 in Hattiesburg between the hours of 6-8PM
  10. Harley at the 7-11 in Ocala FL off of I-75.
  11. +1 and in most parts of the free world I might add! No doubt.
  12. I've never been crazy about Superman but I’m enjoying seeing all these books that are way out of my wheelhouse. Here’s Navy Combat #8, August 1956. Cool Bill Everett cover and nice interiors by Heck, Sinnott and Benulis.
  13. Surprised you don't have one! I'm a big fan of that issue myself; it has stories that weren't reprinted multiple times. Plus I have a lot of nostalgia for it since it was one of my earliest pre-heros, brought home by my dad from a house he was renovating. He found a stack of books in the basement and brought back a Tec, a Blackhawk and the ST. I've have a better copy now, but here's the original: Unfortunately when he went back to work on it somebody had taken the rest of the stack. The Strange Tales #88 is another great issue. Kirby monster stories inked by Ditko are the bomb.
  14. Beautiful as always, Andy!! While I'm not a fan of Colletta's rushed inking (and erasure!) of Kirby's pencils later on, his Atlas era Romance could be quite nice.
  15. Navy Combat and Navy Action are great books. Lots of great art. I was reading one last weekend with stuff by Gene Colan, Syd Shores, Joe Maneely and others.
  16. I like to think you couldn't find a better home for it, though!
  17. I don't have any '56 Romance scanned, so I'll let Frankie jump in here.
