  1. Mostly reprints but with some new material and first appearances by Z-listers like Dr. Spektor, Tragg, Count Wulfstein et. al.
  2. I'll second that. Mike is a great guy, very gregarious, entertaining and funny. He's no wallflower!
  3. Back to beaters. #116 dogged me a bit. I was only coming across low grade copies or high grade copies I didn't want to drop the coin on. I settled on this for a place holder but have never gotten around to upgrading. I let a few go by on the Boards that would have suited me, but I didn't have the interest when they popped up.
  4. Back to blunted corners for me. Unlike Matt, I hated this storyline and felt it was a padded, unimaginative retread. I recall the dialogue being very drawn out and only a fractional amount of what it was in the series' heyday.
  5. Be courteous, kind and forgiving, Be gentle and peaceful each day, Be warm and human and grateful, And have a good thing to say. Be thoughtful and trustful and childlike, Be witty and happy and wise, Be honest and love all your neighbors, Be obsequious, purple, and clairvoyant. Be pompous, obese, and eat cactus, Be dull, and boring, and omnipresent, Criticize things you don't know about, Be oblong and have your knees removed. Be tasteless, rude, and offensive, Live in a swamp and be three dimensional, Put a live chicken in your underwear, Go into a closet and suck eggs.
  6. There were lengthy threads in the General and Gold Forums weeks back about fake slabs. Isn't this one of them? No time to search for the threads at the moment.
  7. That photo suits me fine, I just wanted to see that label for myself. I'm in agreement with Readcomix and would leave it as is. There's also the potential that any extra "value" created by the blue label could be offset by the brand. Voldemort still lags behind a bit when it comes down to sale prices. Plus you'd be laying out more $ in grading fees.
  8. A lot of my FFs from this part of the run aren't the greatest. I don't care for the stories so much so upgrading hasn't been on my radar.
  9. If it wasn't raining, I might've run in for half off. I skipped going yesterday, had enough comics for now and had more important things to do, like gardening.
