  1. I closely follow the sales of all Hulk books and #1 is just nuts now. I have had offers of over double of what I paid for my 7.0 copy just 2 years ago. To say the book is on fire is an understatement.
  2. Do you really think any movie with "The Rock" cast is going to do well? Take a gander at his past movies, epic fails every one. The Rock rocks. He was good in Hercules.
  3. Killer books Bill. The X-Men is almost perfect.
  4. I have picked up a few since they were listed on QC's site. Some of them are up there with the Sucha books. I have yet to be disappointed with the grades they come back, so you won't be disappointed.
  5. They had soft bottom corners and a few spine breaks. You have to look from the side. Yeah, guess the bottoms were worse than I remember. More surprised with the range of grades on those versus the actual grades. But, like I said, overall I am very pleased. Only complaint I have is that I missed the suit. Come to Baltimore.

  7. Mine is an interesting story. I had purchased a few CGC slabs off a seller on eBay that lived in the next town over from me. We arranged to pick up the books at his warehouse. After chatting for a few moments he asked if I would pull books and get them ready for CGC submissions. This was around early 2005. The first night I went in to pull boxes of books my jaw dropped and hit the floor. He had 3,300 long boxes of book in a huge warehouse. I went through longbox after longbox of books and realized it would take me years to get through the stuff. In addition to the books going to CGC I went the usual e-bay route but hated dealing with the mess e-bay had become. I did some research on CGC and saw they had a forum. I lurked for almost 8 months before joining. My first post was a sales thread. Oldguy at the time thought I was someone else and gave me a typical board welcome. I stuck it out that first month, sold thousands of dollar books to board members and have been here 8 years now. Never worried about making 9 years, but the times they are a changing.
  8. end of story. The fact that the seller left an open negotiation for a few hours without bothering to check the status has me a little perplexed. This was a deal involving thousands of dollars.
  9. I don't think there's any question it will. Only until the movie comes out. +1
  10. I loved creature feature and chiller theater. The clay hand that came up out of the bog and ate the lettering was very cool in the eyes of a pre-teen back in the day.
  11. I thought the same thing. I'm really jealous on the inside.
  12. Where's Waldo. 4/18/2014 FAST TRACK ECONOMY Grading/Quality Control 4/18/2014 PRESCREEN VALUE Grading/Quality Control
  13. There are a few "if's" involved here. If the paperis only folded over it should improve. If there is no color break the grade should improve. If the book has enough value to do a CPR on. What does the rest of the book ok look like?
  14. In the wild? In the wild. In a box 20 people sifted through before me.
  15. Picked up a nice Iron Man 100 35 center this weekend.
  16. With big shows like WW Philly most of the staff is on the road for the better part of the week. Grading literally grinds to a halt.
