    Not much hunting in the Orlando area. trust me, I have lived here 40 years. Coliseum is hit and miss, but I have found them overpriced. In Longwood is ACME comics which has a larger back issue selection. Prices are reasonable. In Sanford you have Comic Central. Great service and have many of the hot moderns.

    Business. And a one day turnaround doesn’t always equate to a one day turn around. I have had walk-thru books take 2-4 days, especially if CGC thinks there is restoration/conservation, etc. In a case like that I don’t mind, as I would rather them be thorough.

    This. I could never understand why anyone would mail a book in an envelope or even a Gemini mailer. Too much can happen in transit.

    Well...sounds like business practices I would not endorse. Having watched them handle books at many of a convention, I knew I would never have even a $1 book facilitated by them. A very painful lesson unfortunately, with little to almost no recourse at this time. I can only hope that someone, in the future, does you a solid to make up for this mess.

    I think it has been pressed already, and very poorly at that. Whoever you send it to would need to be good as they need to undo someone else’s damage.

    The color rub by the staple will come off. The crunch top corner will lay flat. Unfortunately, nothing can be done to add color back where it has been lost. That top corner crunch is the killer and as others have already mentioned, i am surprised this even got the 9.6.

    I had special cabinets built, but you could store the boxes sideways if you stacked them neatly.
