  1. That's what I was afraid of. have a few larger statues.
  2. Where is the best place to get display cases?
  3. Staple impressions and staples actually poking through the covers are problematic of square bound books. With that said, I have seen books with 9.4 and up have both issues.
  4. Just the Hulk 147. Really wanted the 151 but someone wanted it twice as much as I did.
  5. The only 3 books I need to have all the Hulk picture frames in 9.8 are 145, 151 and 158. With the move and new house I don’t think my wife would have been happy with me spending $5,700.00 to upgrade two books Hopefully other copies will pop up before I die.
  6. Congrats to Bob on the prices realized on some of the Hulk PF’s Did my best to win the three I was going after but only wound up with one.
  7. It's a fun run to put together. When I started putting my 102-474 run together Hulk books were a lot less expensive. The upgrades I need now to keep the run in NM+ and better average between $500-$3,000 for some of the books. I remember when I could purchase raw candidates for $20-75 each
  8. To some a marvel key is She-Hulk 1, to others it is AF 15.
  9. What are you looking for that could be used as trade bait?
  10. If I had to guess, it happened before the book was ever placed in the press.
  11. There are a few reasons for color rub like this, but a book shifting while in the press is not one of them.
  12. And that’s why there is chocolate and vanilla. 👍
  13. Sell this one and combine the money you would spend in pressing/cleaning to buy a better copy. The sticker will come off no problem, but stains on back cover will get hammered.
  14. All depends? What type of ink/paint pen was used to sign it?
  15. Dave Kapelka used these on his more expensive books. I have around twenty or so I use for keeping my expensive raw books safe until I get them graded. They work great, are super sturdy but weigh a ton. Even a short box of these would be difficult to handle.
  16. I often wondered about this. Many times I have sent in invoices that I thought were identical in grade (these were pre-screens). One invoice has few failures while the next has 25% or more. I find that I get a pass rate of at least 50% on my pre-screen failures the second time around. Thank you for your insight, it has helped clear up things in my mind.
